Looks great, would definitely be keen to see a few snaps of the building process.

Here is a link the ACA group that hosts the Chatres show. There is a pinned video from the show there.

Is it worth going to?
I have been in the past and would say it is one of the best shows I have been to for Diorama and custom build models. They have 1000's of people each year.
I believe the show is the first Sunday in June every. I will potentially be going this year.

Nicely detailed and mine is well finished. The rams on mine look/feels ok but I think it may vary from example to example and how it all fitted together when they assembled it in the factory. Not a really heavy model though the yellow parts are all metal and the black parts plastic.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, appreciate the insights

Picked this up at Shepton Mallet yesterday, £40!!
That is a bargin, how is the model I have been thinking of buying one. Are the ram's strong enough to hold it in the folded position?

6400 is hard find now
It is one of the metallic ones and has no outer box so I got it pretty cheaply.

wow that is amazing. I have had it on my list of builds to make a MA170 for some time. You have just set the Gold Standard.

Are you thinking of adding working LED beacons, would you fit the battery in the cab?

Funnily enough a friend is the design engineer for Muzuri and the topic of kits was discussed not long ago. Not a small project but possibly watch this space, 539EUR sound good enough? 😜
That's moving in the right direction, maybe if there was a decimal point between the 3 and 9, 😁😁. My preference would be for a Sumo, Dale, Claydon.

A direct drill like a Claydon or a Mzuri would be most welcome from a mainstream manufacturer
Or maybe we can convince the famous British trailer kit builder to make some direct drill kits.
@Stabliofarmer Do you think you could do a direct drill for under 540 EURs?

Yes that looks really nice, 540 EUR is out of my budget range though.

While traveling in the US Midwest for work I had chance to stop by Dalton Farm Toys new shop. It is a very impressive setup, they have a wide range of models, mainly 1/16 and 1/64, mainly OEM but also now a building selection of custom/3d printed models. The store also has several custom dioramas built. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
There has definitely been some price inflation, I bought my 1/32 JD Planter for about 45usd, now they are 125usd.
