I think that Combine was made by Ros, and there was possibly an MF version too. I am sure I saw they were very limited or manufacturer promotional models so very lucky find there
thanks for the info, yes is a pretty interesting model. I suspect I managed to find one of the prototypes in China. Yes looks like the seller had the massey version as well.

Nice Challenger, but that Fendt combine appears to be missing a few parts😄
Yes just a few, seems I have most of them though. Will most probably have to scratch build the reel though.
I have struggled to find any information on who made it though. Only other place I have seen is someone trying to sell one for 500 EUR on Facebook. Which would suggest I am in the money on the model seeing as I paid about £35 for it .

Few new purchases. The 3 windrowers are destined to become a triple bed jones engineering windrower.
Managed to find this resin Fendt 9490x combine as well, needs a bit of repair, no reel, etc. Anyone have any info on this model, as I have struggled to find any information?
When I repair it I plan to add tracks so it matches the one on my families farm.

I designed them and had them 3D printed. The caged ladders were "off the shelf" from Plastruct. I just had to cut them to size. I spray painted the towers Ford Midnight Blue for the glossy effect. Still have to make bases for them. I will be using MDF painted with AK Terrains Concrete from their diorama range.
thanks for the insight, you have done a great job

Really nice, did you scratch build these yourself. If so any photos of the building process?

I managed to go to Chartres about 5 years ago, was one of the best shows I have been to. Seems in Europe they have a tradition of presenting small diorama, meaning there tends to be a lot more variety.
When I was there, there were many stands selling spare parts or broken models. So was great if you like building models.

If this is the start, I am excited to see what comes next. Not sure if you have seen it yet, but there is a topic documenting people's adventures with 3d printing on the forum.

One lad selling all these was told very expensive
After not being at a show for a long time, I was pretty shocked at how expensive most models seemed to have become. Any implement out of production seemed to be over 100 GBP. I think I have been spoilt buying models directly out of China, where prices don't seem to have increased much.

Looks to be some nice displays there.
yes, there was a pretty solid vegetable and potato theme on most displays. Sort of perfect for Lincolnshire.

Dalton Farm Toys, Newton Iowa - Visit
in General Hobby Discussion
Posted
While traveling in the US Midwest for work I had chance to stop by Dalton Farm Toys new shop. It is a very impressive setup, they have a wide range of models, mainly 1/16 and 1/64, mainly OEM but also now a building selection of custom/3d printed models. The store also has several custom dioramas built. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
There has definitely been some price inflation, I bought my 1/32 JD Planter for about 45usd, now they are 125usd.
