  1. Finally after a hectic harvest season I have finally got back to working on these models. They are nearly finished, but I thought i would keep you updated.
  2. If you are interested I know a good way to make double D rings. Take one flat 12mm washer, and two dished washers and glue them on the sides, I found the best washers at homebase, and b&Q have a good range of dished washers, it looks really good. They also work well as the packer on the Vaderstad carrier.
  3. oh and there are some more pics of it folded on the second page of this link http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=8742.0
  4. have you seen my 6.6m simba solo, i have posted pics. I made two frames to hold the discs, tines and packer, it is in the nearly finished stage, but the season came along very quickly. here is the link http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=8417.0
  5. Has anyone tried using the UH deutz k100 as a donor chassis for the MF 5455? Its seems from the pictures that the K100 is a shorter wheel base than the other deutz made by UH, and therefore might fit the 5455 bonnet and cab better.
  6. In my version I have used 2 sets of briatians discs and for the packer wheels I have used the wheels of the front of the UH bombard, but this harvest season has been so hectic, I haven't had time to finish it. Maybe going this way might help keep costs down, for the 6m. As for a 3m you would have to completely redesign the tank.
  7. If you decide to make the 3m version, give me a pm, as we have got one and I can get you as many pictures as you like. Also the model looks great, but if this is only the prototype I would change where the tank is mounted, as you have it over the front of the set of system discs, and I think if memory serves correct it should be mounted over the rear set of applicator discs. I am sure this is just a minor modification.
  8. No unfortuntly we stopped the beans this year, they look just a combine header but they are the same width as the pea vinner header.
  9. Lincolnshire, we have it all along the reclamed land from the sea, on the coast. Have you done much vinneing. I think the farm that has the 6 PMC harvests 10,000 acres of peas. Have you conisdered making the bean heading for the ploeger?
  10. We run two of the ploegers, the detail on the model is amazing, the only differece i can see is that the rear wheels look a little narrow, ours are about 2 feet wide at the back and a little wider at the front. A farm near me has 6 PMC, they look like a swarm of bees hovering over a field.
  11. Sorry for the poor quality photo's, but what do you think.
  12. I did credit the idea to dt on the previous page, I saw dt massey and thought that would be a perfect loader tractor. What do you think though to the rear 3 point linkage on the 7920, that was completly my own idea.
  13. What do you think to the duels on the Horsh Chaser, a little bit more US.
  14. Finally finished my JD 7920 convo and few more of my 6140
  15. That looks awesome, tattie season is going to go well this year
