  1. What are the wheels on the back, are they of the mccormick ztx
  2. It is the 6140, it is the same conversion DT did recently, but I have added a UH Ergos loader painted in MF red
  3. Yes there is a ram that goes down the centre, I try a get of photo of it raised latter.
  4. What do you think, the JD 9620 Agritrac was the idea of ctsboy.
  5. We have just bought a couple of McCormicks from our local dealer and they assured us that they are here to stay. I had heard the finacial difficulties romour, I think it was in the french part of the company though, I believe they build the axles or something like that.
  6. not to bad from what I have seen, but I had conidered it, I have a set of UH Class Atles wheels, or the rear wheels of the back of the Britians Case MX305 lying in back up. I will hopefully have it painted and finished in the next few days so you will be able to judge for yourself.
  7. I'm working on converting the McCormick ZTX into a MF 8400 series tractor.
  8. No definatly for my collection, I have another UH to massey conversion that you may be interested to see, I will hopefully have pics up in the next few days, just casting the final parts know.
  9. I saw the MF baler in the Arable Farmer last month and had the same idea, haven't recived my fendt baler yet though, this yours looks very good though. I can't wait to get to work on mine know.
  10. Thanks, I always take my camera to events, so I have collected 100s of photos. I just pick the best and then post them on here, you'll have to wait to see some more in the future.
  11. Well if you are feeling remoresful (hahahaha), you might be able to help me, I need to think of a way to make a standing crop of peas. My idea has been to buy a load of train set hedging, and spray it in a light shade of green, but spraying it on close to create a thick effect in place, that will hopefully look like peas. If you or any one else has any ideas, I would be appreciate it.
  12. I didn't claim the orginality of the idea. I saw it on the Troiseme Point, I think it was done by the minitoys, people.
  13. It might look the wrong colour, and you would have to make sure to get it bone dry else it will warp the wood. The second field in my display does needs a little topping up, but i'm just waiting for a nice dry day. The plan is also to have a crop of standing wheat, I'm going to go out and get a few goldy brown coloured door mates.
  14. soil, I spent a couple of hours sifting soil from the field behind my yard to get it fine, then I layed it on a sheet to dry out for a couple of hours, and hay presto instant field. It looks really good in the flesh, I had a go at doing a bit of ploughing on it early and it is amazing how well the siku ploughs work. Only problem is that because it is so dusty, the tractors just sink to the bottom board.
  15. Its not to hard to make, until you come to making the parrell linkcage for the sprayer booms.
  16. I have allready got some from there, unfortunaly they don't fit, and look far to small, PDC has just PM'ed me about some 8400 wheels, I think he may have solved my problem. Thanks anyway tractorman
  17. Luckly we don't use those wheels behind the board any more, we sold the tractor, and the McCormick wheels on the end can nicely be taken out the door behind them, fingers crossed. Hopefully though when it is finished I will move it into one of the games rooms or the pump room in the house.
  18. They are very nearly finished, all that needs to be done is to join the tracks together. I would have got them done early but those blasted uni exams got in the way, then when I got the exams finished, I acciendentily broke my first clay mold for the tracks, doh. But know finially I have them finished, except I have run out of glue.
