Mark and I were getting quite confused with the net bidding system at times. A good laugh though and I think we managed to keep on top of everything...just about
. It was a good sale and as Barry said, some bargains as well as a few things getting very pricey! The 2000 onwards Britains and Siku were sweet pickings for some whilst the more scarce and early models were quite strong.
Currently now collating everything so will publish final prices in due course.

Haha, that was me Chris. To be honest, it's how I have always pronounced it since I was about 6 playing with the Britains models! So is it doyertz, doots, dertz or deutz..

No problem Will

Wil,
I have contacted the technical guys to see if they have an answer.

Sorry Will, I was trying to imbed the catalogue into the topic but it appears to not be working at the minute.
The direct link to the catalogue is here

The only surprise for me was the Britains IH and Case IH not getting into the top three. It was some way behind third place as well.

Well the results are in for this years awards.
Thank you to everyone who voted. We had almost 500 responses in the end which is a great representation of the hobby. I know for a fact that the manufacturers are very keen to know the results of this and some will be introducing the award emblem (if they have won) in their catalogues for next year. Similar to the What? awards you see on products.
I am pleased to present the results as follows:
The best tractors for 2011 as voted for by you:
First Place: The Marge Models 1/32 Ford 7610 2WD or 4WD
Second Place: The Schuco 1/32 International 1455XL
Third Place: The Wiking 1/32 Fendt 939
The best implements for 2011:
First Place: The ROS 1/32 Grimme GT170 Potato Harvester
Second Place: The Wiking 1/32 Samson SG28 Slurry Tanker
Third Place: The Equaterre 1/32 Franquet Synchromix 3m Cultivator
The best 'Other Vehicle' for 2011:

Some nice items in that collection. I wonder how many emails of offers he has had.

Well since Model Farmer decided to feature an autodrome MF1150, we are now working with them to produce a full set of English instructions.
the diagram is good but hopefully a few more sections of English will improve the experience for anyone struggling.
-
There is a section on buildings too this time. Some unusual Hugar and Britains. Many sourced by the vendor from car boot sales!
-
Thanks guys. Il try Nigel first.
-
Just a query as to where I could possibly find genuine MF paints in small volumes. E.g. Less than a litre. A friend not on the forum is in need of some.
Thanks
Andy

Well this week I have been busy compiling the catalogue for the next Farm Model and Toy Sale to be held at Springfields Spalding. The catalogue will be online next week and I'll post details in this topic but some real cracking items up for auction this time.
One of my personal favorites was this Roadless!

Britains Hürlimann on eBay - ever released?

They go through phases of higher value I think Bill. As Sean said, one week they'll make £100, then the next, it'll be £60. I guess a true value is to take an average but at the moment I would say it will be closer to the £60.
