  1. I can understand the frustration. The developers are aware and are working to resolve the problems as we report them. We've installed their latest updates this morning. Rather than giving up though, I would suggest you try and persevere. Image posting is something that has worked ok for me so far so it may also be fine for you. If it doesn't work. Post it in here so we can report the problem.

  2. Just a reminder that we have the Autumn Farm Toy and Model Auction LIVE ONLINE tomorrow. Saturday 26th September.

Catalogue available and online bidding facilities all on www.the-saleroom.com as usual.

Plenty of Farm related lots including nice selection of DBP's. Some very nice hand built combines from Tractoys and many others!

  3. To get the quote to work it's a case of open a reply window, click the little light switch (BB code) then go and click the quote button of the post I want to quote and then the text appears in the reply box, then click the BB code switch again to be able to use smileys..... ::) now I think of it we had to go into BB code mode to get JMD's pics from PB to the forum. ???

Just tried a photo upload test and the can only get the link from PB to paste into the reply box in the BB code mode.

  4. Another new feature for the forum is the 'Best Answer Feature'

It is designed for help forums such as this one where for example, a member may be looking for advice on how to paint a part on a model, or how to remove something etc.. Generally anything to do with modelling DIY!

Once the topic poster is satisfied his or her topic has been solved. They can select the post which they feel has finally convinced them the solution has been achieved to their initial query. It then enables a quick and easy reference for future members who may have the same problem.

We'll give it a go anyway!

  5. Great pictures Tris. So that's what you were doing when you went to 'check yourself to make sure you were ok' or was that Sean? Some great Saturday evening images too. I'm pretty sure I don't actually like nuts so a good sign it was a thirsty night!

  6. It was certainly a tiring end to the day yesterday but once again, an incredible show put on by the LCN. Next year already being looked forward too! Equally, a fantastic weekend with great company at the FTF Palace.

Far too much to see if you have a stand but I think between us, plenty of snaps of the show, to be shared. I've got a fair heap to sort through but wil share one of my favourite pictures, as a taster, which I took yesterday morning, of Johnny MF's fantastic (almost complete) MF699. :)

  7. Just returned from another amazing Newark Tractor Show. I didn't have too much time to take many pictures as it was probably the busiest show since I have been attending. Some real gems on display though. Blue Force again had an incredible display. For anyone interested in the older machinery, you really MUST attend this event.

  8. Newark Vintage Tractor & Heritage Show

The Newark Vintage Tractor and Heritage Show is proud to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in 2012!

This popular end of season event will take place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November 2012 and is definitely not to be missed.

There will be plenty to enjoy with a vast array of exhibits (last year there were close on 900). Given that it is our 10th Anniversary we are upping our game and hope to have a display in the Main Ring for all to enjoy – keep an eye on the website as details will appear as soon as they are finalised.

Centre-piece of the Show this year will be a major theme display of Perkins Engines to include some heritage exhibits including “Wolf”, the oldest known Perkins engine.

New to the Show this year will be a Feature Horticultural Area with the main feature being the Landmaster Rotivator.

For those looking to make a few purchases in time for Christmas, there will be an area dedicated to festive shopping and cookery.

Traditionally coinciding with Remembrance Sunday, this year on 11th November, the Show will hold a Remembrance service in the George Stephenson Hall which will be followed by the presentation of cups and trophies to winning exhibitors.

A firm favourite, the Native and Rare Breeds Exhibition will be located in the Sir John Eastwood Hall and will include horses, ponies, sheep, cattle and pigs as well as displays and demonstrations to bring our heritage alive in a visual and entertaining way.

All this plus the Auction of tractors and parts (Saturday), the Sortout (Sunday), trade stands, hot and cold food (ranging from breakfast to evening carvery) each day, plus on-site camping facilities.

The Newark Vintage Tractor & Heritage Show is ‘THE End-of-Season Show’ to attend.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU HERE!
