  1. Good spot! It’s actually a very scarce variant. Usually found with yellow hubs rather than orange/red here. Historically they’ve sometimes gone over £1000. If it’s genuine.
  2. Thought I'd share the recently photographed 'Vintage Harvest' piece from the above. Quite an incredible piece in terms of detail and extremely weighty but not to many people's tastes. If anything, good inspiration for a 1/32 diorama if you can machine the loader!
  3. Sounds like your browser may still be trying to find cache files of the forum located at the old location. Have refreshed or removed them joe?
  4. That’ll be because we’re now located at farmtoysforum.com rather than /forum I think Sean. I’d done the same.
  5. If there is any issue found with passwords, submit a support request or email us on info@farmtoysforum.com Note, the site is located now at farmtoysforum.com rather than farmtoysforum.com/forum
  6. We've now completed our final migration over to the new server so if anyone experiences any problems, please post them in this topic.
  7. This default theme will still be available even when the alternative is back. It's perfectly reasonable to have a choice so that's why we'll keep it running.
  8. We've just had to reset the theme back to the old one temporarily whilst reviewing a few 'bugs' that have crept into the new one. It'll revert back once this has been resolved.
  9. Corgi's are commanding decent prices currently. This one is probably more desirable as it is hard to find with complete original tracks. Would not surprise me if it got to £200.
  10. Still a bit more work to do which should complete early next week.
  11. Could you post a link to the topic please Martin. There should be no change to images.
  12. Advanced Notice The forum will be offline from this evening, Thursday 18th February, 6pm until Friday 19th February whilst we migrate to a new cloud based server. The migration will see increased reliability and better compatibility with new features being introduced in the coming weeks. Data up to 6pm will be carried over in the move.
  13. There was a minor server glitch I think Smithy which might explain that brief outage you saw. The Image top left as Gav says is a link to home but it's main purpose will be the forum logo. A new one at that as we make some changes to FTF for 2021. It's being tweaked to better display than current position though!
  14. There were a few American sellers churning these and the Deutz Allis out, sometimes under £100 a few years ago. Obviously the hassle of getting them over the Atlantic but a good investment going by today's values.
  15. Thankfully not this time! Some will notice we have also re-introduced signatures within the forum. If you had an existing one, you might need to reupload the image.
  16. Please accept my apologies on the recent outage. To put it simply. Some of FTF's DNA deep within the system from year's gone by inadvertently corrupted a fairly standard upgrade so needed a specialist to clean up the old mess and get us back. Should be fine now. Just a footnote that we will be carrying out some other work to the forum in the coming weeks but should not result in downtime. I will try and warn in advance if it does!
  17. It's a bit of minefield but I suspect some rules and practices will change as the year moves on, especially for B2C transactions. There should not be any significant adverse additional charges for the customer in the UK or EU (from a VAT registered seller) albeit shipping costs have definitely increased and there may be a handling fee. I think the main problem area are sales between private individuals including those attending shows to sell across the borders. They won't have the VAT registration as a means of reclaiming the tax paid. I'm sure a business attending a show can make a temporary import/export declaration and account for the actual sales at their usual accounting dates throughout the year. Again though, paperwork for the seller will be essential and could be problematic (time consuming) if you get the wrong customs official at the border. Out of interest Cyril or anyone in the ROI, how do the parcel motels work North of the Border? Are people moving to using these more now? .
  18. That's exactly correct. From what we've been told, there shouldn't be any VAT on the supply from the vendor. From UK to EU, there shouldn't be any VAT within the transaction if that seller is VAT registered. From that the type of goods and value then dictate the fee at border. If the goods are 'used', that also makes a difference to something brand new.
  19. Springfields Exhibition Centre is currently one of the area's Mass vaccination centres so the venue will be out of action for a while yet anyway. I'd say 2022 is likely to be when shows may return. Still a lot of unknowns to process first, specifically how well vaccination stands up to next Autumn winter. Summer shows could be way forwards Short term but I'd expect venue pricing to be astronomical.
  20. It'll be new tooling and copied on the original toy. We explored re-running their old TW tooling to re-produce the County that never was (in blue) in the early years of discussions with the then head of Britains, Craig Varley. He advised that most was lost or destroyed in the transitions between factories. We also provisionally planned to run the Ford Highway tractor Ltd Edition with the old Rear Dump Trailer as a special set but again, the lack of tooling for the latter ruled it out. Would have been a smart set mind you! There seems to be a thing currently with re-running vintage issues with Dinky Toys being reproduced. These have proved to be pretty popular. There used to be great dialogue with the company and for all the time he was complained about, Craig Varley was probably best one they've had since the early 00's. Both he and FTF members were instrumental in getting some great advancements in the Britains lines. Particularly the new rear hitch, the Internationals, Fords and classic Deeres. Rory Day played his part too. It's a different company now though, with good intentions, but looks to have a rather hazy approach to product development!
  21. Did Ertl re-issue the above tooling on general release in different livery? The old casting below was done in at least three colour schemes I think. Still a smart tractor.
