  1. Cheers guys, he's one of these farmers who doesn't believe in trade ins He's out near Fakenham in N.Norfolk so quite a way from Quidenham
  2. We tried but it is buried behind gates and old bags in the shed. It is a runner though and could go into work if needed
  3. Especially for Marky, his other FE35 with a mid mounted finger bar hedge trimmer, this does most of the farms hedges still For the Ford fans.... Armer Salmon Cheetah Armer Salmon Tiger 3 row, soon to be gas axed
  4. Went to look at something on a friends farm today so thought I'd take a few extra pictures of some of his tractors for you. Its a 400 acre all arable farm with a little extra area on contract terms for a neighbour McCormick International 276 Ford 5000 Ford 6600 Ford 6610 Ford 7810 Valmet 8200 McCormick MTX140 Missing are a FE35, a 35, Allis B, 2 Super Majors, 1 with rear forklift and loader, NH TF42, MF 780 special, MF50B digger, JCB 530 and two Frasier Buggy's
  5. Yes it's self propelled Nick and has a couple of people under the canopy on it, its a tracked machine Take a look at it here on Tumoba's website http://www.tumoba.nl/index.php?lang=&page=Machine_Volledig&Action=4
  6. Caught this working today up at Bicker near Boston so thought I'd get a couple of pics of it for you guys, I believe its made by Tumoba and just takes one or two rows at a time. Unfortunately the slow speed it was going meant I couldn't get close to it without waiting over an hour for it to get back to my end of the field \
  7. I have a million ideas too, need a few grand to get them underway though :D
  8. Not yet, when I get caught up with orders again I'll get on with it I have done a little moe, the hopper is now finished, just leaves the framework to finish
  9. The place Tris suggests is the best place to get it from. As for combining that and resin parts there is no problem, strip the paint away from the beet harvester models and you will see a mixture of both on it
  10. Would you beleive myself and Chris found one laying in the dealers yard where we took the other pictures yesterday, unfortunately it wasn't in a good place to get a photo of with other machines in the way, would like to know what he was asking for it myself
  11. You can't see the old ones they've removed and left laying in ditches and hedge bottoms full of brambles, twice i've had them wrapped round rotors in the past
  12. On a similar note, when doing paddocks that have previously had livestock on them watch out for electric fencing wire and net in undergrowth, if you see the ground move 30m in front of you its not a good sign > My old work mate "found" a coil of electric sheep netting in undergrowth with a spearhead topper, took him over an hour to pull it out, at least when I put telegraph pole straining wire in the flail i could gas axe it out, he couldn't
  13. It's unusual at any farm sale if neighbours and/or local dealers don't enter the odd machine or two in it as well
  14. We think it belonged to a local contractor who, when new used it with a reverse drive Mengele or Kemper Forager, I can just about remember it so she's seen some work in her life, still does seem reasonable though
  15. I'd say it would be fine if whatever you used it for was free flowing when tipped but if you know its going to hang up in the trailer then its a different matter, with her being 2wd if your back wheels do lift up you are going to have problems moving forward to get the weight to come off the trailer
  16. You need a bigger tractor for either of those trailers I would imagine Marky, Even with a 10 ton tractor on a 14 ton trailer i've had the back wheels lift off the ground when stuff hangs up in it, its one of those ass nipping moments. If that were to happen with Fanny, I think you could have a nasty accident on your hands \ Never believe what a dealer says on oil capacity either as I don't think Fanny would tip that dump trailer to the top myself \
  17. Atkin Farm Machinery in Dereham
  18. The only one that I know the price of is the Fendt 615 Kev, she's up for ?6.5k on an "A" plate with 10k hours on the clock and reverse drive kit
  19. I know it only went for ?320 + VAT as we all commented on how unusual it was to see an 8 row about anywhere. Each seeder unit has 8 brass bushes at ?1.30 each and if they get worn you'll get up to 6 inches of variation in row spacing going across a field. Been there, done that, makes hoeing impossible :D Didn't get any of that, there were too many people hanging around some things \
  20. Take it that was the Accord one as the other two didn't sell in the sale. I hope it picked up a unit and tryed to move it from side to side before bidding or there'll be a large bill heading your way It's twice the size Sean
  21. There is in fact another Fendt there that I have pictured before on here, he has a 308, 309 and the 615 in there. as for the 20E, the chap wasn't there today who I need to speak to about pricing, maybe you should come and have a look Marky
  22. Is a shame on that 6810 as its immaculate other than that Myself and Chris have just been discussing that on MSN we can't remember the model but it was a TM/60 series NH
  23. You do indeed Martin, there were a brace of 4600's sitting next to it, I haven't got any pictures, don't know if Chris managed to or not. I believe one had a loader and one didn't
