    Fiat F140

Used to be Radiomobile but don't know what it is now as it went wrong and just as it happened i drove past the mobile sales van for the local auto electrical firm in one of our field gateways so i grabbed whatever he had :D

We sure do, it lights up like a christmas tree at times for no reason, we know there is no fault but that says there is. Usually engine oil level.

The right hand console, the front 3 levers are- smallest: forward/reverse. Middle one gears 1-4 with ratio double switch built in, basically like Fords dual power. Outside longest one selects the 3 ranges. The 2 small levers at the bottom are for the spool valves while the 2 upper levers set draft and depth controls, flick switch that is visible near them is the raise lower control, next to it is the pto on/off switch. Bottom rear lever is pto speed selector.

    Fiat F140

As i had a bit of time today again due to the wet weather i took a few pictures of the inside of our Fiat F140 for NH2 or anyone else who's interested. First up the dash panel showing L-R temp guage, rev counter, fuel guage. Bottom centre is the warning light block for oil pressure, levels, temperature of oil/water. Switches below for lights, diff lock, 4wd, engine pre-heater. Tractor has now done 7666 hours since 1995.
  7. It was definately in working order but just getting a bit tired now as you can well imagine. Might be too late as it could have gone abroad which would be usual practice for one like that now i should imagine
  8. Ok, i'll have a word tomorrow see what he's doing with it or if uncle will be selling it privately. Can't think it will make a lot though. Although it was in vgc last time i saw it
  9. I can do a bit of detective work for you on that one, can speak to sales rep concerned
  10. Better get in quick then or they will scrap her no doubt at that age
  11. I think they traded her in with Randell NFM, definately not dead, been doing 5-600 acres a year all its life, think he had it from new.
  12. Smart looking combine there. My uncle has finally sold his 525 Super II this year and come up to date (ish) with a MF32, a big step up i think you'll agree :D
  13. Don't know if dealers down your way are the same, but the ones up here can order in any colour paint you like. We've had JD green and MF red off our NH dealer before. Think the Deutz dealer here has just gone bust so can't get u any, can have a look though
  14. Nice pics Tris. I'd say that loader was made by Browns, they have a very good reach on them, bit too big for the tractor, our neighbour at work has one mounted on a Zetor Crystal 4wd.
  15. I'm not tight, the nuts were and i couldn't get an angle grinder in to cut them
  16. Good use for that old trailer there Tris, will look good with a ladder up the front. I may have to try that if my Dremmel ever recovers from cutting the shock absorber nuts through on my Land Rover
  17. Thats one hell of an ambitious project there, best of luck, i get the feeling you'll be needing it :D
  18. Thats what working on a farm is like every day now, better start to get used to it
  19. I know, lots of oil in that area as well from the rebuild on the engine too at the minute. Looks like i'll be needing new retaining rings too like that
  20. Cheers guys, thought of that one but they are 13mm nuts between the turret and inner wing so there isn't space for stilsons and my nut splitters have broken, daren't try chiselling them off, don't think i could get in there with one anyway. Suddenly my cheap shockers aren't so cheap
  21. Looking good Dave, a 6 row model would fit the frame better though i think. All beet is drilled at either 18 or 20 inch row spacings now as far as i know if thats any help to you
  22. Not a problem, always helpful to see a picture of something before you try to make a copy of it in any form
  23. The nuts rounding off that hold the shock absorber turrets on on the front of my Land Rover, another job for the garage to do > At least the back ones were easier to do
  24. Another of the link chain going accross the top of the press
  25. Close up of how the arms are mounted on the press and the chains mounted on the arms.
