  1. Thanks, it is a big beast when u stand next to it, needs a bigger header though, 9m isn't wide enough for it. I know the straw chopper will spread up to 12m so i think its a case of watch this space
  2. Only the tractor wheels are the drive wheels so need to be that way round for maximum grip, sprayer wheels aren't driven so are turned round to pull easier as far as i'm aware
  3. Thanks, no no brochures this time, can get plenty when i go on parts runs now into the dealers so no need to Good suggestion but can't afford one of them :D
  4. Its the other way round here, that was on Manns stand who are basically Claas UK, the only remotely silage thing on there was a Unifarm mower and Roto-Cut baler. Wish there was a bit more grassland kit about there but thats the joy of a predominantly arable area
  5. Last one, it was getting near impossible to get good pictures by this time so i gave up Nice little challenger for you though :)
  6. Heres one for the Massey massive, i feel so dirty.... :D
  7. Another of the same, trying to get them to let me have the little beast on demo this year, can't blame a guy for trying :D
  8. Went to the Royal Norfolk show today, didn't get too many pictures, too many damned people about to get good shots of them However i did get a couple of the Lexion 600 before there were too many people about
  9. If you still need them i've now got the spec sheet to the 1174FC, if you want a clearer image let me know. Also have them to the 4600-FOUR, 6600-FOUR, 6700-FOUR, 7600-FOUR, 7700-FOUR, 774, 974 and 1184TW if anyone wants them
  10. I know i have a full set of 1980's county leaflets as my late father sold them and i kept the leaflets afterwards, think i may have one on the early fc as well, will look as soon as i get a minute for you
  11. I have a brochure somewhere, if i can find it i can photocopy it for you if thats any help to you. Is it the newer one or older one you want?
  12. Don't you just hate it when that happens, oh and you'll need a damn good pair of snips to trim a twig, better off with a junior hacksaw :D
  13. How about making it a Major one? http://www.major-grasscare.com/agriculture.htm#LGP%20Tanker
  14. I hope they never end it, will be a sad day, no other vehicle could have the same character as the Defender and earlier models
  15. I used to drive an H pattern column change 6610 and found it a pleasure to drive, only driven a rubix briefly, never again!!
  16. That i will agree with, still was an improvement over the rubix box though
  17. I haven't actually heard of any 7810's up this way that suffered from this, lots of 4 cylinder 10 series models but none with the 6 cylinder in it

    JD with long axles

i think about 90% of the ones over here are the clamp on type which put a lot of strain on the wheel rims so can't do the axles alot of good either

    JD with long axles

How are your duals fitted there, is it straight onto the axle? Think it's more to do with how we fit them than the duals they don't like \
  20. Its a Ford, take alook at the back end of the one in this months Classic Tractor magazine in the Q cabs article, you can see it is then
  21. Neither did i until i got near this one a couple of years ago, or how awkward they could be for that matter, hence the irritator nickname >
  22. I learnt all right, when you're setting up this lot in the heat with 2 workmates there gets a point in the day when if there's a pub within 1 mile you need to seek it out and charge it to the bossman. Nothing like a nice cold pint on a hot day to quench your thirst :D
