That front linkage would help to make the tractor pull 6 furrows better, just shifts the balance to the right place as they are a fairly compact tractor. Amazing the difference it can make to a tractor.

Alright for some! i've got a mate who does a lot of their demonstrations for them, now thats a good job, fastrac one day 360 the next
  5. None of them about here, more Bunnings spreaders as they are only made 5 miles from here and built to last. Some of the best spreaders and trailers on the market in my opinion. Never seem to get a lot of trouble with their machines like some people have had with Western and ECE spreaders.

JCB have three different sites up in Staffordshire now- the main manufacturing site near Uttoxeter, JCB power systems (could be transmissions, memory not good tonight) and the world parts centre, the last two are right beside the A50

We've still got New Holland manufacturing tractors in Basildon too, can't remember which models are built down there now though. Not british through and through but still built here
  9. Think you'll find that they are K Two spreaders there chaps, you can just about make it out on the side of the spreader
  10. Thats a nice set up there, not used to seeing 4m models about here, most people who have Vaderstad's have gone for 6m or 8m ones

Someone told me that Claas use Felixstowe docks for shipping their machinery in and out of the country. It would make sense as it's fairly close by comparison to some of the others. Did see a few Volvo loading shovels there a few years back as well, so a few other manufacturers may well use it as well.
  12. Well it's a no from me. its a shame really as he could learn a lot from the members of this site, but if he can't stick to the rules and stop being abusive and annoying, it's going to cause too much grief for all the other members on here. He was given every chance when he was on here last time, can someone change so soon?
  13. Looks nice! Think you may need some front duals on now to stop the front end sinking :D
  14. Been to my local dealers this morning and found this if its any help to you
  15. Thanks for that, i do like it as well but i was just wondering what sort of value it held
  16. Here's one of the box, you can clearly see that the cellophane has peeled off.
  17. I was just wondering if anyone on here would be able to give me a little idea what this set is worth. The MB Trac, snow plough and rear transport box are all in mint condition. The box itself is in good condition, but the cellophane is peeling off the front and the plastic inner is split. Not sure whether to keep it or sell it yet.
  18. anything to help. We have 2 stores like this, the 3rd one is a wierd bin storage system, didn't have camera with me when i was over there this morning. It throws the grain into open bins using conveyers and elevators feeding an electric blower head, tis a pain in the ar$e as it struggles to keep up with our Lexion 460 in good wheat
  19. Heres one of the store taken from the front, shows the 2 sides which are split by a central tunnel, the fan blows the air down the tunnel and then through ducts which we open and close depending on how full the store is or which part of the store we wish to blow. Each duct covers a 3 foot strip across the width of the store (approx 30')
  20. Here's one of the diesel engined blower we use for drying the grain or cooling it down if it comes in warm. It has a 6 cylinder Ford engine on it and to be honest is getting very unreliable and needs replacing. The fan is about 3 feet across and we were told that if you parked a double decker bus at the other end of the drying tunnel it would blow it over if you had the tunnel door open.
  21. Heres the pictures of our grainstore as promised. It is a bulk store holding between 500 and 600 tonnes each side. The floor is a raised wooden floor with galvanised vent slats for drying and cooling. Sorry if its not very clear but there was alot of dust floating about in there at the time!!
  22. I can get you some of our grainstore tomorrow F-P, will be loading wheat out of it all day
