  1. Definitely Justin... Just hope they pave the way for a few more now the wheels have started turning towards the Marshall brand
  2. Cheers Smithy, in all honesty I should have taken the 465 with the weather the way it was... Perfect for a cabless.... But I don't get chance to drive the 804 that often since Gemma claimed it so thought I'd make the most of it 🙂
  3. Not often I buy 32nds these days but thought why not... Marge D844 and D944 Steyr based Marshall , will post photos of them once unboxed
  4. Cheers Justin aye it were a good day out and weather spot on for it .. Matt getting on abit with my old 802 fair play to him 👍
  5. That belongs to my mum's partner aka little Dave.... He's had it a while, just a toy for him 🙂
  6. Before stopping for the pie and peas break, We had a couple of miles through the timber haul roads of Gisburn forest... I managed a bit of video... VID_20230903_132525.mp4
  7. Yesterday's local charity tractor run raised an impressive £980 for a chemo unit at Blackpool Hospital.... I ended up flying solo as Gemma injured her back and thought 5 hours being bounced about in the 804 wouldn't do it much good, although Gemma did get some photos and videos of us on route... So as a rare treat because I don't get to drive it much these days I took the 804 for a tour about the Lancashire countryside along with John JMD in his 8340 and his son Matt in my ex 802.... A good day was had I reckon
  8. Dropped by the shed after a few other jobs this morning and got the 472 out, radiator flushed through and drain bung removed out of block, good amount of rust washed out, bungs refitted and filled with a 50/50 antifreeze mix... Road tested again then both 472 and 804 topped up with a couple of gallon of diesel ready for Sunday's roadrun, which I'm led to believe involves a run through Gisburn forest on the timber haul roads
  9. Couple of hours spent up at the shed, the 472s water leak cured for now with a bit of half inch heater hose to bypass the control valve, refilled and road tested for an hour... Seems ok for now but might flush the radiator through at next given chance.....
  10. Not many new additions of late but recently acquired these with a bit of help off John JMD.... Cheers John, be a wonder if any full size ones still exist or how many where built
  11. Not a bad run this morning a bit higher up the Valley with John JMD... Good natter with Tom and a look at almost a dozen tractors.... One in particular has been talked about before and has been talked about again today..... Nothing set in stone yet but given a bit of time and a few negotiations....I might have found our next project tractor...... Cheers John not been a bad couple hours 😉
  12. Cheers Smithy, yes weather been bit hit and miss today but better than the forecast mentioned, had a bit of a shower and it's rained again since we home but had threatened to rain most the day... Aye your spot on that's the little fellas JCB. Had bit of a catch up with John JMD and we both off on a short road trip tomorrow morning to go and have a catch up with a mate higher up the valley and have a look in his tractor shed😉
  13. Good day had today.... Though water leak on 472 on return to the yard, first inspection looking like the heater control valve has cried enough and started leaking.... That by the by team photo
  14. Been a fortnight or so since I'd been up to the tractors so had a quick hour up at the yard yesterday, gave the 804 and 472 a drink of diesel and checked over the other vital fluids for a long and productive life before giving them a quick wipe down 😉 as they both out at the local Chipping Ag show today, but the schedule fairly busy with a local charity road run a week Sunday and then the last local Ag show of the year the following Saturday, they both get a few hours on their clocks over the coming weeks. Surprisingly though the 472 is better on diesel than the 804 despite the fact the 472 dragged the 465 to the last show we did.... Maybe Gemma has a heavy right foot 😂 Will hopefully get a few photos later
  15. Not often many of the 32nd get out of the cupboard but had 5 minutes tonight to make a bit of room for when the Marge models D844 and D944 arrive so couldn't resist a couple of photos my dream doublechop silage fleet
  16. Whilst Hamish is waiting to visit the vets for his booster jab he has to be carried about but to get him used to sounds and sights and smells as well as travelling in my Defender we had half an hour with him up at the shed to introduce him to the tractor collection.... I'm hoping another Leyland fan in the making 😉
  17. Glad you getting on a bit Smithy, your Major Weeks trailer Combo looks the part and trailer looks in good condition, many folk were quick to fault a week's as the drawbars were easily weakened and bent at the step joint just in front of the headboard....
  18. Good to see that you been able to get on a bit Smithy... But like John says you've similar weather to us of late.....
  19. Cheers John, aye think he'll be into all and Everything once he's a week or two older.....
  20. No less than we have become accustomed to from you John, very nice indeed and every credit to you 👍
