  1. Hello and welcome aboard. Do you have a layout? Like Chris said, you will love it here. Luke
  2. Nice update, great work on the water bowls.
  3. Thanks for the warning, I never thought about that. A bit off topic but do you happen to have a few more shots of those dioramas?
  4. Looks like some rain tomorrow and above freezing temps for the next few days again. I can't complain. ;D
  5. Welcome aboard, I cant wait to see some pictures.
  6. I ordered a custom tub mixer a while ago and it was about to ship so I quick bought a scratch built air compressor and oil drum to save on shipping.
  7. I looked into it a little and so far it seems like it was isolated to models made in or around 1996. An articl I found claimed that some wires were not harnessed properly under the cab and over time the coating on the wires would rub off and rub on bare metal therfore causing anything flamable to catch on fire. I am curious now so I think I'll keep looking.
  8. I am not positive how wide spread this issue is but we had two 9030's that had electrical issues and caught fire both times the operators barely made it out of the cab. I see that there are plenty of them for sale, in fact I saw one online for sale with 12,000 hours so I think it is safe to assume that Ford fixed the issue but something that may be worth researching. If I remember there was a line that was prone to leaking (not sure what kind)+ a spot you couldn't blow out that chaf would love to get into+ faulty wiring led to fire that spread very fast right behind the cab.
  9. A new camera. Its a GE X-500 WH, it seems to have good reviews on amazon but ill find out for sure tomorrow.
  10. I am looking at a F-350 or a 3500HD chevy/gmc with low mileage so I can put a plow on it. At the minimum ill go with an F-250 or 2500HD so it can handle a v plow. I love the cabs on the Ford super duty's plus the truck i'v been using rides extremely well for being such a big truck and having a plow on it.
  11. Its a friends truck, he left for vacation yesterday and asked me to plow. Sure enough the first day he leaves we get 8+inches of snow. Oh yeah, I never plowed with a truck before this morning.... ;D Nothing is broke yet and everyone has there lawns in tact, for now... It sure is a great truck, handles great in the snow and has a diesel engine so there's plenty of power. I am looking to upgrade this spring to a one ton pick up like that one but 47,000 USD is hard to justify when I can buy one used with 20,000 miles on it for about $15,000 less.
  12. Started to snow plow. I need to get some pictures tomorrow but bed time is in order as I need to be up by 1AM. :of
  13. One Idea I have had if I were to put in shelving I would use wood shelves with glass doors and add some lights on the underside of each shelf to highlight the models. I think and LED rope light would do well but I am sure they have other options.
  14. Fantastic work. The 7810's are among my favorite tractors and models.
  15. I will try to remember to get some tomorrow. Now they are saying we will get about 5 inches of snow or none. I don't think the weather guys have a clue most of the time ;D
  16. You have some very nice models there. Any chance you have more pictures of the plow?
  17. Wow, simply amazing. I will be watching this one closely.
  18. Well the snow finally showed up so i am suppose to learn how to run a friends plow truck so I can plow for him since he leaves on vacation tomorrow. Sure enough they are calling for 3-5 more inches of snow tomorrow so I guess I better learn fast.
  19. Everything looks great. I am a big fan of the weathering on the jag.
