  1. Picked these up today at a local show. Prices were pretty good in my opinion.
  2. Nice work, I am looking forward to the final model with the hydraulic lines and lights.
  3. Nice tractor and baler, I am not too familiar with 1/50th farm models.
  4. spreading straw on some regraded land. over 40 bales all spread by hand, by the end of the day we were considering a chopper/blower. ;D
  5. Looks sharp. I will check on the fire location though, the person that would know is out of town for a little while but when they get back I should have more info. From everything I gathered it was isolated to the blue Ford 9030's around 1996 only. I heard that it affected around 100 machines nationwide so id say its safe to assume that Ford caught the issue but I will keep looking into this one.
  6. Cool but sunny. Around 1 degree C
  7. I just bought 2 1/64th John Deere 6910 SP forage harvesters. They were advertised NIP so I really hope they are as the price was fantastic and they are getting harder to find.
  8. Claas 900 (I hope to add a 980 but I am still waiting for the builder) John Deere 9630 with silage blade John Deere 9430 with silage blade Kenworth with 22' Meyers silage box John Deere 7430 with H&S silage wagon Either John Deere 4960 or 7280R with the 34' Oxbo hay merger John Deere 7930 with Pottinger butterfly mowers or 9430 with mowers. (It depends on if I can get my Pottingers built to my specs.) I will add various wagons and trucks for hauling as they get built but that is close to the final line up.
  9. I can only view the second link but any how nice buy Rick. even if it's not green
  10. Absolutely fantastic. I am eager to see the finished product. Will you build containers for it?
  11. Very nice additions Erik. Is the Case 2 WD custom? I don't remember a 2WD of that size.
  12. Very nice, the black smith shop has to be my favorite.
  13. Wow, those are some neat models. Its amazing how many brands are represented there.
  14. I hate having to clean equipment but it sure looks good when its done.
  15. Very true, I am in a similar boat as Sean. Luckily I can talk to my current employer and probably make some improvements to my situation but I am looking at the big picture and it may be time for a move.
  16. Wow, that is one neat idea. I can't believe how much time they spent working on it but I bet they had a lot of fun. 8)
  17. There is a big fight in my town if they should allow them or not. The ones complaining usually say it will wreck their view, lower their property value and they make too much noise. The funny thing is that these are the same people who always talk about needing "green" energy. Personally I think they look pretty cool, I have gone past a few wind farms a few towns over and the little sound they do make sounds kind of cool as well. The only concern I have is that I was reading an article on their high maintenance cost and failure rate and if there is any validity to the article it sounds they they can do more harm then good.
