  1. Just got to print off decals now Thanks for looking James
  2. Rams on just decals and pipes to go on and paint up the wheels that are going on her.
  3. Not put any rams in yet Pat, they're next on the to do list but it will have ones on the back. If you look just under the screw for the back door there's a small peg sticking out to hold the door rams.
  4. Nearing completion on the first one, hopefully be on sale by the weekend. Paints not quite as good a match as I would like but nevermind Next few started as well And considering these wheels for one too, opinions? Thanks for Looking James
  5. Trailer is looking great Cerin, are those wheels cast? Also the tegal stuff is top notch too
  6. Progress. Also in the process of getting the next 3 cut
  7. With time off over Easter I have finally got this up. Its looking a little cleaner now after a wash and the rain we've just had and abit straighter after I remembered to screw in the bottom two screws either side of the door. Just got to clad the walls on the inside now and I can move everything farm related in.
  8. Looks cracking Sean, the tip angle seems fine, most muck would even start to slide out at that angle so a bit of cake or grain would be fine. As for a donkey Dave Twose makes a nice resin engine although it may be a little small http://www.britainstoyfarm.net/100460/info.php?p=9&pid=3157385&ack=9 or a scratch built Lister would look good too
  9. Haha thanks Barry, while you had a pair of scissors we have a pair of laser cutters No computer programing just drawing in the design to scale like you'd draw a picture on paint or publisher. At my school we use a program called techsoft 2d design to do this.
  10. Think this is the correct topic for this? After speaking with a teacher at school and Marshall trailers I've got permission to use my schools laser cutter to create 6 Marshall QM 1400 silage/grain trailers. 1 is to go to the Marshall factory and the other 5 sold, most likely around £60 Anyway this is the laser cut frame. All that has to be added are the sides and floor sheets What do you think? James
  11. Very nice indeed, is that the siku truck or is it newray?
  12. Exactly James, for £1500 I don't think there's and I quote 'to many to mension' (spelling mistakes too). If I was shelling out that much id want to know exactly what I was buying and the condition of every item.
  13. Those outdoor shots are cracking Jack real summer evening feel to them
  14. Would have liked to have seen that Sean, my mum ran a few 6 & 8 wheeler leylands so a typical tipper of that era would be nice to see.
  15. Pounced on the dry weather and got some flags laid ready for a new shed dedicated to model farms.
  16. Thanks Jordan, casting my own wheels keeps the cost down more than anything
  17. Using up some materials left lying around. A small wooden silage trailer, not based on any model in particular but would probably say it rates between 6 and 9 tons. What do people think so far? I think it will be weathered up to look like its been left in the corner of a yard for a number of years hence the dodgy paint work so far. James
  18. The trailer looks great Uremoder, something a bit different. Any other plans for the truck?
  19. that's it thanks, some interesting kit around your yard then
  20. Looks good Sean but what's that sat in the shed on the right?
  21. Those tyres suit the JCB very well, are they aluminium centres? No problems with the trailer this time either?
  22. I can't even see them bothering with disk, the number of people with smartphones now would suggest brochures will just come on QR readers with little stickers on machines at shows or on websites
