  1. you've all answered your own question - teleporter at that time was a brand name for the Sanderson - as they were one of the first the name stuck much the same as hoover did with .............well hover!!!! :D
  2. If you open a back door of a belt baler you will have to have further detail of the density arm which has to move with the belts. This would be very costly but would have to be done to keep the precision detail of the model
  3. This is the Claas baler - just launched for real! - the Fendt model looks nothing like this one. I think the post previous may have confussed you as they were talking of the back doors not opening on either model.
  4. I will see if I can get some more as this dealer I got it from said he only just received it and never even requested a blue one - I have asked him to get me 10. no promises but he has good contacts as he is a collector and is a Valtra dealer. I have also sent my own mail to my Valtra contacts to see if they can source me them from their office. Wish us luck!
  5. Thanks! It was nice meeting you and Marky Ferguson for the first time - you wern't hard to find as I knew you would have the yellow MFs on your stand. I was pleased to see that the other stall holders respected the retail price on this item, which was nice!
  6. I only know one with a loader - I think a member posted a picture of one where they removed the loader
  7. I don't really know - the dealer ordered this one for himself as he is a Valtra dealer but I - right or wrong - swapped it with my spare Cow print Valtra as I didn't want to let it out my sight. But he ordered it from Agco and it just came blue. It was the Valtra website and dealer boxes that show the blue version so I was wondering if they have the right to this colour??? Who's going to take the risk in ordering one!!
  8. Already at the top of the combine list I've included the Blue Valtra with loader now I have confirmation that its real.
  9. There was a post months back with reference to a Valtra and loader in blue from universal Hobbies. I have to admit I was one of the people who questioning this as the model lauched was red. It has bugged me for ages.............. But my serch is over!!!!!!!! If this was common knowledge I appologise! It is genuine and comes in a Valtra box from AGCO. A dealer hunted it down and finally got me one.
  10. I saw the pair on G&M - he want ?200 for the pair - I've convinced myself that this style of model on a plinth is not for me. (doing this saves me ?200!!!!) Has anyone bought them at this price? I see quite a few around and felt this was to high a price and people are trying to over estimate there costs. No other Ltd edition fetches this much!
  11. Well to be honest it was the first model I purchased from spalding for ?22 all those years ago :'( :'(- It was a hard decision to sell the other models but when you put them against UH there is no competition. Its all going on Ebay! Although it was a hard decision to sell them, It was easy to stop buying Britains etc - going around Spalding today I was only drawn away from UH 1/32 with the 35X yellow MF in 1/16 and the Merlo models
  12. This list contains all the possible models inc Ltd Ed but not duplicate models due to different boxes. I display all the models so the boxes don't interest me so hope this helps people like me. The box numbers are only as a guide. I have a complete list put on Excel which includes everything including boxes but its up to over 300 now!!! 13. I have sold most of my Britains now with only this shelf left to go! Items I can't let go!
  14. There are no duplicates - just the new releases and the remaining combines left. All stored away - no room for new stuff
  15. I wouldn't be supprised if its not already on the drawing board (CAD) but it will be the new high output 120x100 baler. They seem to launch the models only months after the machine! You've got to give Claas there due they put a lot of their capital towards Marketing.
  16. A dealer near me sold me a few for ?11 each he always has stock of them and all the other in dealer boxes.
  17. Yes 190 balers make 120cm bale height so it will fill a trailer, but a Claas bale of 100cm will only allow 3 high on a UK lorry, leaving a space of 60cm which cannot be filled. This would mean they would be nearly 3 ton under weight. \ I understand what you are saying and agree a few will be sold due the output they claim but with ref. to straw traders they did not like light loads. I was carrying out demo's this year to straw contractors and every trader that hauls their crop long distances had the same argument, if a lorry is light due to the bales not filling the trailer to its full height and width and the bales are under a certain weight they are not interested. Straw on lorries is normally sold by the ton so to prevent contractors producing light bales. If you can get more crop on a lorry the margins against transport cost are higher. This is why 70 cm 90cm and 120cm high bales are popular in the UK because it fills a lorry of 1.4m high in the UK (max transport height is 5m) Stacking the Claas on there side would get the height but not the width as you will still be 3 ton short. I'm only saying what I found as I demo'ed to over 40 contractors and I was sick of hearing from them how critical the weight a size was, fortunatly we past the test (for most of them! , can't please everyone)
  18. Yes It does make moving on trailers harder, but with straps its OK, I visited Norway with the company and saw a lot of farmers stack their bales in the feild they were made, and around the headland in single lines.
  19. Spot on again :D - we fit them to balers but normally in europe. it hasn't caught on here - no one abroard can understand why we do what we do. If you stack on the end you have more plastic in contact with the ground, and they don't squash when you stack them for long periods.
  20. The MF 190 is 118x127cm this will give approx a bale height, rounded off at 120cm high. When stacked 3 high and add a trailer of 1.4m, it will give you the 5m height. The reason for the popularity of the 190 is because of transport as you have less bales to load and have maximum capacity for haulage. Also straw burning factories only accept 120 high bales. If a large contract is arranged with a farmer for burning bales they will accept a % of 90 high bales as they struggle to get the quantity they require.
  21. the problem is that the new square baler with a bale size of 120cm wide 100cm high is no use in this country for transport on UK lorries. \ \UK lorries are higher than the european decks. They have designed it to have 4 bales high on a 1m high lorry body to give the max hight of 5m. In the UK we have to have either 70cm high bale to give 5 high on a lorry or 90cm high bale to give 4 high on our lorries as most lorries are 1.4m high approx. Saying that people who block farm and don't transport on the roads may buy one, but it does reduce the potential in this cut throat sector of the market. It just proves my theory that British farmers have to follow concepts that european factories design for there own countries and allow UK to adapt!

    Question

I have spoke to a Case dealer regarding this - as this topic of Quadtracs on the road being legal has cropped up before. The dealer assures me that the are legal on there own but towing something is a big question mark! Its not that it hasn't been done. Unfortunatly the only time these questions are answered is when a serious accident happens and the laws end up being fine tuned. It was the same with the Fastracs when they first came out, laws were made afterwards after a number of accidents. You have to remember these machines are launched and general people out of the trade doesn't know how to clasify them and neither do the police so they ignore them until they have to!
