  2. It looks like this Agrar-toy company has been working with the KV group a lot - 1st the KV plough then the Vicon tedder and now the RAU - Finally!
  3. Bazza has kindly gave me a list of all the different Box types, numbers etc available on UH models - so I will update the first page as soon as possible.
  4. interesting - its a dual wheeled version! the question is now did they make a normal one
  5. Great list - I will update mine with the numbers as soon as poss. Whats this Fendt? any more info on it? When did UH do this or has it been commissioned or converted
  6. Has anyone seen the new Ltd ed White Deutz K100 - Its on the G&M website for sale
  7. there actually around 8' longer as the right rotor is at the front and the left is set right back to receive the front rotor crop The top photo is the side delivery and the bottom the normal central delivery
  8. I kind of agree - its good to see young people wanting to make a go in this industry. You've got to love it as you won't be doing it for the money Just points you have to remember is your hiring out machines so you will possibly need a public liability insurance or some form of insurance to cover you if your machine accidently injures someone due to an error - you certainly need it if you mow/hedgetrim yourself for council work. Unfortunatly you age would be against you on this. Most hire tractors are new as they come with the warranty for three years. Remember the price of the machine is important but not the only deciding factor, it the cost of ownership that counts. If you come up with a busness plan showing a tractor can make ?10,000 a year for 3 Years net Profit (after expenses) the tractor cost ?50,000 after 3 years you owe the bank ?20,000 but the tractor is worth ?25,000 so in those 3 years you've made ?5000. (Depriciation is usually approximated at 25% a year) But if you bought a tractor for ?25,000 secondhand. The secondhand value after 3 years is ?11,000 - at ?10,000 net profit every year as above, you could sell the tractor and clear ?16,000 but its not impossible to have a repair bill each year of ?2500 and increased insurance for a older tractor, so it could leave you with only ?6,000 profit ?2,000 a year - not a good wage. But you can see totally different tractor prices; but little differences in its conclusion - A business plan is the answer to prove to yourself thats its possible - and remember cash flow kills most companies - if you have bad payers and you have no cashflow the banks can shut you down - if they don't pay - you can't pay! Go on a farm with someone elses kit and earn 10 times this much a year! no hassle and enjoy your holidays! If you do want to try, remember set a wage for yourself which could be ?20,000 (only for example) + costs + 10% to allow for loss of work in the year = the amount of chargeable work you have to find. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR DECISION - Work hard and you'll get there
  9. Your probably right - On Wednesday a lot of models were sold out and being restocked thursday. The Sun flower deutz run out around midday and was going to be restock thursday aswell
  10. Just sold one to a guy in Cambridge the machine can work like the picture for two single rows or straighten up for one big one - as its aside delivery you can come back down on the same swath. This model is not normally available in this country as 99% of twin rotors have central delivery - We have realeased a 11m version this year at agritechnica to pick up 4 3m rows
  11. I did speak to this guy on wednesday and they still hadn't arrived - he said thurday. He also told me the maker but i didn't think it was Ros - I though it started with New.. but language barriers prevented me understanding.
  12. Im keeping mine close because seeing the amount of dismantled ones a spalding I would say the number that are suviving is decreasing fast. Maybe some one can confirm but I think this model in particular was always chosen to rob because they where being sold quite regulary for ?10-?12 I would be interested to know if anyone has broke one for parts and why choose a ltd edition?
  13. The farm I worked for as a kid dragged zig zag harrows behind and they would constantly flip over so I had to jump of and flip them back whilst on the move
  14. My brother was designing ploughs for dowdeswell right up to the time they closed, I also had two other friends who designed there but they have all moved to Thwaites designing - Just to confirm (if I can remember what he said!) the DP1 and 2 were on land ploughs as nigel ford said, my brother agrees it sound like the DP7 or 8 - I do remember him saying that steel wheel is not a tell tale sign as they made them with tyres also. he says do you have a picture?
  15. This model does have the ltd number printed on the bottom - usually the ltd ones commissioned for example so of the Valtras, are ltd runs and will only make more if the demands there.
  16. I have done one along side this one but as I don't collect them I will have to leave it up to the member to tell me to add it
  17. GOOD Answer! I stand corrected sorry And for my next question.... :)
  18. WHY There display only models arn't they? Thats wht carpet farmers like to stick to Siku a Britains - some have UH but are aware they may break. I think UH detail is fantastic for a 1/32 - at this scale if its realistic it will break but thats the deal.
  19. I see what you mean when you see them together there are a lot of changes - just out of interest why are they doing this anyway? I can see that visibility will be better but surley if thats there motive why not make the cab like a normal tractor? Weight could be a reason but they didn't have a weight distribution problem on the current models.
