  1. Was looking forward to this one but I'm not so sure of the 'names' in white lettering on the mudguards, look quite visible.
  2. Scaledown T3 When looking at the Scaledown catalogue of tractors the Farmall A was a model I always passed by. Recently I have been watching Pete on the Youtube ‘A few Acres Farm’ series. I enjoyed his use of vintage tractors and equipment and boy does he like the Farmalls. So I was tempted to get the Scaledown model. I know International started assembling the Farmall M models in Doncaster in 1948 and I was wondering why Scaledown did the Model A rather than it, was any of the Model A’s send to Britain during WWII?
  3. An airbrush will always give a superior finish but you need to invest in a good airbrush. Cleaning is just a pain you have to live with, 5 mins to mix the paint, 1 minute applying the paint, 10 mins cleaning the airbrush. With a good brush you can control the amount of paint to any area and getting into those nooks and crannies is not a problem. I suppose it’s down to the amount of painting you do in a year to make the investment in a good airbrush worthwhile.
  4. That's a fantastic model, really like it.. Its put my Nuffield collection into place, only seven models and one in the box still to be made.
  5. I’ve never used that paint but a possible solution would be to spray the model, once it’s fully dry, with gloss varnish.
  6. Thanks Ferret, I was being lazy and putting off researching the pictures using Norman Joplin’s book as reference. Re looking at them again my best guess is as follows: 1 Britains 573 Bull 2 3 Timpo Cow lowing with bell 4 Cherilea Jersey Cow with bell (missing) 5 Crecent long-horned cow 6 Britains 508 Cow 7 Timpo Cow with bell feeding 8 9 Taylor & Barret cow lying down 10 11 Crecent long-horned cow feeding 12 John Hill & Co. Shaggy calf but am open to correction please. #2, which should have been two separate pictures, the front cow looks like a Britains 509 but the paint pattern seems different. Did each manufacture stick to the same paint pattern or were there variations?
  7. Lead Models I have a number of unidentified lead models and was wondering if anyone could identify them. I’ll start with some cattle and see if there is anyone out there who could help.
  8. Scaledown AT3A Bomford Brigand Long Reach Mower [wide flail head]
  9. Legend Farm models -Fordson Dexta & Super Dexta Set 1961 Super Dexta, 1958 Dexta, 1962 Dexta & 1963 Super Dexta. Will have to do some modifications on them to bring them nearer to UK Spec.
