  4. This wee / large gem, courtesy of the F T F shop, Andy, might I suggest you brush up on your packaging skills, three of the seeder rollers were dislodged when I received it,no problem to me,but if someone had bought that for their kid, there'd be hell on,most folk use "polystyrene peanuts" these day,I have bags of them myself, http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=polystyrene+peanuts&_frs=1 Regards Joe.
  5. According to someone on G T P Malcy, "For the number of copies, the person in Norev I got on the phone was unable to find out more. FYI, the storekeeper at Claas told me 500 ... I do not believe too" Regards Joe.

  14. Well,my thoughts exactly Sean, with one little problem,at this moment in time I have no interest whatsoever in creating any models,i have a very nice model of a Vredo VT3936,which would be a right unusual and stunning model, but I've not even looked near it since May last year, just got this mental block for some reason, reckon though if I did do a slurry tanker for the Bollmer Xerion it would be one like this, With the Amazone Catros on the back, something just that little bit different, :- Regards Joe.
  15. Cheers Justin,it really should be a Kaweco tanker at the back of that 3800,I think the big Samson is better suited to the 5000,hopefully UH will do a tanker for the back in time for Agritecknica, :) Regards Joe.
  16. This lovely dark green ( Bollmer Edition ) Claas Xerion 3800,been hopeing someone would make one after seeing one in a video,http://shops.venditio.com/landtechnik-dvd/i_big-Landtech_1314453154479-481x500/Landtechnik-2011-Teil-2.jpg back in 2011,it's a really nice model, only missing Bollmers web site address on the cab top, wonder if Bollmer requested UH not to include that,or just an omission on UH's part,?? Wrong tank,I know, but still pretty near the Kaweco equivelant Thank you all at G&M Regards Joe.
  17. Oh Tris, what a question mate, first Van Seumeren are Dutch,so lives in Holland, but like trucks they don't pay for themselves sitting in the yard,i do know when it was at Clydebank,it's next job was in South America,??,it normally travels by barge I think, each front boom section is roughly 10ft x 40ft = 3m x 12m but I think weight wise one rear section fits inside each front section, here are some good photos of it from a Dutch heavy lift enthusiast Jan VanWees,http://www.janvanwees.nl/Spanje/Spanje.htm and a pdf http://www.anthonycraneusa.com/loadcharts/Demag/Crawler%20Cranes/CC%2012600%201600%20Ton/CC%2012600%20Demag.pdf Regards Joe.
  18. I went for a little run in the car today,to Methil in Fife to try and get some photo's of one of the biggest crawler cranes in the World, the demag CC12600 capable of lifting 1600 tons at 22meters,it's next nearest rival can only achieve that at 10meters,but it's real ability is it can still lift 200tons at 102meters i dont think there is another crane capable of doing that, this is the second time this crane has been in Scotland and also the second time I've seen it,the first time it was at Clydebank lifting an oilrig onto the top of a ship, which subsiquently sailed down the Clyde only to hit the Erskine Bridge, due to security I could only get within about 400 meters to it,you get some sense of scale with the two guys in the centre, Any other day this would be a big crane, but not today, This I guess is what it will be lifting once everything is completed, Regards Joe.
  19. Now this is the photo I've been looking for,the Cat Claas Lexion with the doors removed, also the auger, Regards Joe.
  20. I wholeheartedly agree with Malcy and Sean,I ordered my new Versatile 550 last Wednesday at 14:30,and it was delivered before 15:30 next day, fantastic service,as they are 400 miles away from me, Regards Joe
  21. Do the lids just sit on top of the "closed" doors then Malcy,?? Regards Joe.
