    have used a 6420s on a loader and we managed to get in the small sheds with it. there are some good examples out there as well but the best way is to try before you buy. its getting demos for long enough to see if you like it these days.

    What about a 6420s mate nice cab and a 120hp also small enough to have a loader to get in small sheds.

    ye I am Ian I have seen so many at shows and on websites and thought I'd love one. as my skills get better I am able to tackle the models I wanted.

    Looking good Ian see what you mean about the cab hanging over too much. wont be a big job to fix.

    i used the 3140 Ertle chassis cut down with 7mm cut out between the cab and the enginee. I am also going to do a 2140 4 wd as i used to drive one on my uncles farm. but the 2140 OPU was the spare tractor on the farm i worked full time on

    I cut out about 7mm out of the middle i used the measurement that graham gave me so it will be right. cheers mate

    thanks they are lovely looking tractor even though the gears were sometimes a pain when shifting up or down while you were on the road.

    ye I am graham took me a while to get round to doing it after you put the pics up. I am thinking of building a 2140 4wd SG2 cab. i also want a 3040 OPU. every farm needs the trailer shunter

    ye so do I . My Mate used to have one of these when we had our 6600 and i used to think you flash git he now has a 8530 and still uses the 6910 in the quiet times.

    started this this week so thought that i would post up a couple of pics. still have to glaze the cab add mirrors the decal which i am hoping henry will have. i am also thinking of rebuilding the interior.

    Well you know us john deere boys like to see the models. am looking forward to see you converting the cab. may be so i can try it as well.

    When you do a conversion you probarly spend more on building it. nothing better to look at a model and think i built that.
