  1. only done two load hand ball fertilzer , but used to go rotherhithe and pick peanuts up in catch weight s all dropping on your shoulder trying to guess near 20 ton nightmare job big hessian bags dusty used to them back for animal feed always return load,but like you say desserted if you turned up with feed that was in bags, sorry bit of a trip down memory lane there
  2. was that the lorry you put pics up of with round bales on , was the pallets returnable as i remember takeing pallets back to avonmouth but may have been for small bags cwts not sure long time back , cwts marcus i think i would die now with 20 ton of them :o
  3. yes marcus remember them used to fly sheet 20 tonne loads out of bekesboure ici,with a volvo f7 , and the farm where i worked used the dumpy pallets to keep straw up of the ground

    i am self employed adam and i work with my brother in law, fitting and repairing milking parlours , slurry handling systems , and permastore silos

    only richard up at warehorn adam done his parlour work mate but i have been through the farm at snargate and lydd lots of pic s you take round there mate

  12. nice pics bill i was talking to donald the other night and he was saying that the farmers are having a torrid time trying to get the harvest in up with you , would that be going for feed or malting bill .
  13. jez we will be at toytrac with layout not spalding mate still a lot of work to do on the layout at moment but should get there . tris fella no more a gent than your good self you can make a man blush ,see you soon udi

  15. just finished the building for the ftf raffle that andy was talking about , i think they have had a building in the raffle since they have been doing the stand at spalding it will not be to everbodys taste but i am sure the proceeds of the raffle will go someway to keeping this forum going as i enjoy the ftf very much anyway here is pics your feedback is always appreciated graham ps thanks to udimore and steve for getting the building to spalding the tractor and the combine just there to show scale

  17. some old names there bill lovely books mate glad to see the drake and fletcher mist sprayer made in kent used to see many of them most gone now thou ,did you ever get a copy of the green book i have a 1978 edition very good for reference bill pity those books have finished publication

  20. some nice stuff there gav looks like a good day out and the weather held off [ thats what you call a furrow press and plough the gus does not look to bad on the front ]
