  1. there is some pics of silage towers on my work topic mate i shall be working on three in southampton later this week mate ,and we still errect them permastore ones that is , the grain towers you do not need to dry the corn for them if you are going to feed it to animals it rolls out better moist for the feed , the silage towers are around 25ft diameter around 80,to 100ft tall hold around 450 to600 ton of silage if the silage is made in the right condition it is lovely stuff will be better than clamp silage any day , we service around twenty silos and unloaders but some of them are not used in farming well they are i suppose the end of the line thou meat and bone are stored in some
  2. sean it will be 8ftx 5ft when finished mate then the slurry store which is an open earth banked one
  3. just had to set this up for some mesurements thought i would put some pics up 160 cow dairy unit i will put some more up when more done there is a leanto , to go on it and silage clamps and slurry pit
  4. nice job jason few ton of setts there , do you set them sharpe sand and cement jason and what did you sweep them in with ,back breaking job but a lovely result cracking

  12. it seemed busy to me great atmosphere as well , on the selling side all the stuff i took along went very well could have sold a hat full of the simba spreader a bales if i had made more ,

  19. well what pleased me today i have just been 800 miles in the van towing the ivor williams trailer ;)now that may not sound to pleasing to some but that is a big achievement for van and man i think this van needs to nominated for something in the new years honours list , we went to alfreton in derbyshire then to welshpool then across wales to fishguard then gower for a sleep then home today, been delivering bits of machines for silage towers . and and the back doors never stoped rattling all the way just to let me know they was still there bless that van ;D
  20. i did the land rover wing on court lodge farm sean with the pliers mate its the one in the workshop that they use for night shooting dont know if you can see in the pics thou , but bashed it up good \
