  4. Had a bit of spare time this week so got a little bit done. Started on the drive way and the farmhouse garden. Waiting for a dutch barn which I ordered from Modelzone 2 weeks ago. I take it its the postal strike holding it up over there. Then I'll start on the farm lay out
  5. Iam so pleased that someone with your skill are building some 1;87 models. They look fantastic cant wait to see the spreader finished, I will be keeping an eye on this subject very closely. They would look great on my layout, Taken orders by any chance.

  11. Thanks for that guys, Yes she loves helping me out and playing with the trains. She just gets carried away sometimes.
  12. Well Phase 2 has got off the mark, The farm and the truck yard with a loading dock for putting cattle on the train. Yes I know its not your normal thing to see on a uk farm but hey, neither is a livestock road train. :D PS the first pic is with the cut out out ,Its so I can reach the train when my five year old puts it flat out and comes off at the far end. \
  13. One more of it. The bales have been in the field for a while and the grass is growing back. Thats why it's a bit greener. ( thats my excuss and Iam sticking with it.)
  14. Got finished the last field, Put it into silage bales, Not as happy with this field as Iam with the others, Just couldn't get the colour of the field right for me any ways. Had three go's at it, I wanted it alot lighter than it is, \
  15. This is the only livestock setup I've managed to get a hold of old D.A.F 2800 or 3300 space cab I think. No markings on the bottom side of her, It looks like matchbox wheels but I would of thought it would be writing on it some where, Haven't finished weathering the unit yet as you can see.
  16. Thanks for this BRITFARMER really appreciate it. Yep its not cheap but its what Iam after.
  17. Well done there Thomas. You deserved the top prize,Good on ya. The farm layout looks realy great.

  19. Ha yes burst water main it is lad. :D I thought the bullnose looked a bit big for that trailer so Iv'e swoop it over back to the Merc.
  20. Thanks for that MJb, Very handy site to have. Yes I do like that. Out of about 20 1;87 trucks I have 8 of them are made by Schuco they are really good detail. What I have been trying to find is a 1;87 livestock truck. I have managed to find 1, Well one is a home made roadtrain and two artics not that detailed but they are going to have to do. Busy painting them, not too sure weather to keep the logo on the trailers or not. WHITE OX right along the side of the trailers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again
  21. What else can I say top job, Them backgrounds are fantastic. Seen some digital backgrounds in the shop last week. They wanted 40 dollars for 10 ft, Some day.
  22. Your right MJB for the timber and just some of the scenery ie; 2 packs of fences grass mats paints and making of the rocks has cost me about 120 pounds so far, Thats with out the models. Ha well spotted MJB I've taken the colour scheme from AW Jenkinson's. Here's what its suppose to look like. separated the quote from the reply
