  1. i think the only way to do that one would be to turn the axle upside down. looks like a little gem that one mate
  2. with a bit of work on the front axle it would work. i did try it first and the front was in the air a bit. i've got a load of jd bits to use somewhere mate
  3. thought i would show you this. its the bits from the jd4020 afwd . i'm not in a hurry to do it but it might give you guys a look on how it will look. bits used are jd axle, rear mud guards, seat rear wheels(ford ones are to small) if anyone wants the bits to do it give us a pm.
  4. i think tickets only on the day. will make the day that bit more (costly) special for the people that travel. its in october and we are talking about it now. made the mistake last year of saying to my mate theres a 956XL for 22 pounds in a box and i blinked and then he had it in a bag and had a right grin on his face, bugger

  7. will be good to put some names to faces. better bring a bigger cake tin this time ;D. anybody else on here having a stand then . or maybe a big stand with people selling conversions (like some of gav's)

  10. no not at the mo,its just something i'm tinkering with. its a mf 6180 on the uh k100 skid. same as the mf5455 base i sold you.
  11. not finished yet i've sold all the other bits i need to finish so waiting on the new bits to come in. more pics
  12. started this a few months ago . 1. cut the bonnet just after the grills on the side. 1b. cut out front axle. (forgot that bit) 2.using thoses bits of plastic that has the holes in that come from the bottom of the tractor boxes.glue four bits to the bonnet bit that you cut off. when dry glue the bonnet section to the back half leaving a gap of 15mm. 3.when dry, mix up some car bodyfiller and fill in the gap, when doing under side where the hole for the front axle is put a big lump of filler to put the new axle on. drill the rivet on bonnet back a bit then fill with filler. 4. sand down the bonnet to the right shape, get a sharp hobbie knife and cut and shape of the decal line and the lower bonnet too. 5. when happy start with the new axle. i'm using a mtx one. sand down the lump of filler till flat.make sure you put the rear wheels on the tractor. then rest tractor on front axle and keep sanding till it sits how you want it. drll hole in axle so you can screw it to the underside by drilling threw the lump of filler and fixing the axle to the tractor. take the steering rack off and turn it upside down. 6. drill threw front linkage and screw to front of tractor 7.paint and add exhaust, light pods, beacon, decal 8. jobs a good un.
  13. looks good but i think you might have problems with the rear arches like fw said try the mtx wheels as they are a bit smaller. keep with it mate
  14. i like that mate . do they do a cabbed version like that?
  15. you should see his TVT190 that is a cool model as well
  16. from a coversion point of view its a good base to start. as a model to put on a shelf its ok . but i tink its a step back.i've heard the reason for it not moving is down to detail , but i think thats wrong. they had the front axle of the jd that they could of used .so they wasted money there.
