  5. This month also saw the end of digging the contracted russet potatoe's for the chip factory. Table spuds will be lifted at the end of may and hopefully moved with out storing and grading. 412 unloading into the hookloader.

After a few nice rains the ground was starting to look like the start of a decent crop so may 20 savanahwinter feed wheat was drilled into a stale min-tilled seed bed @110kg/ha.No fert was used at drilling the soil test showed 40 units of P in the ground already so the crop will get it's fert in the spring prob in the form of cropmaster 20 (20,10,0)@ 300kg/ha X2. Drilling with 412 & 716

  11. Bill, From what I understand.... Siku is EU more less and has the Grimme brand for root crop models. RC2 is north american and has no root crop kit in there line up so would there be a chance over the next few years of RC2 looking at any north american lockwood root crop kit so that britains would also have say a potatoe digger in there line up of current models? thanks ol.

  17. Cheers dudes, It's a fiar call to say that kiwi's still have a love affair with there conventional ploughs.My local caseih & GB dealer still seems to sell brand new conv 7 furrow ploughs.
  18. The arm on top of the plough is the arm of a coil press.
  19. Pictures of a local contractor's tractor and plough parked up ready for work as soon as the ground dry's enough to start ploughing again.
