  1. Interesting Gav. Have you got any pictures from min-till potatoes? What cultivator do you use in front of the bedformer to prepare the land?
  2. Are four row harvesters used in the UK? With 72" beds it doesn't seem very compatible? Three row harvesters are more common really? Webs can be made from strips of rubber and the thinnest brass wire you can find (found in electric cables) which is around 0.1mm and as thin as hair. Though I have to say it is not really possible to get a correct spacing but still makes a satisfying result.
  3. Blue was a colour which had to be imported into the DDR so they swapped to Oliv green because that was a colour produced in their own country's.
  4. Some MF trailer pictures to be found here as well: http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp1789.htm Might be of any help to you.
  5. Niels

    Ziko's photo's

'Gele mosterd' = yellow mustard, a cover crop sown after harvest to increase OM (Organic Matter) 'Stortbak' = Reception hopper
  6. Am I correct saying the MF power harrows are originally Greenland models? Nice soil killer combination you have made there btw.
  7. I can only second that . Very good pictures! Do you have anymore? Especially of those Claas Commandors!
  8. Plenty of Dutch people invading your area . First Verkooyen with their Ploeger spinach harvester and now Rijko. There is also another Dutch pea vining team in Germany atm running Ploegers.
  9. Ask GTP from the T9050 model in the catagory above. He should know.
  10. That is a 570TT At least, it was last year.
  11. Nice models Ziko . Though the photo's appear a little blurry? Camera doesn't quite like taking pictures from up close?
  12. Lovely Allaeys model . The combine can stay in the shed for another while though. Barley is not quite fit yet.
  13. Lovely model Tractorman. Very nice to see someone thinking outside the box and comming up with such a model.
  14. Good job as always Luke . I always enjoy the story's with the pictures making it just that bit more realistic. Keep up the good work! BTW; Are you from Dutch origin having 'Dewitt' as a surname because it sounds rather Dutch to me ?
  15. Le-Perch-Che-Ron . Or: The working horse.
  16. NP of course . The Vierzon tractors indeed have yellow wheel centers. A bit of a JD colour scheme. According to Google these Le Percheron tractors in the UK are as rare as hen's teeth.
  17. Sorry BC but that is not quite true . That is a Le Percheron, a French Lanz Bulldog copy as you say, but not a Vierzon. They are very similar but a little different and have a lighter green colour. (The Vierzon). Le Percheron tractors were build from 1946 to 1956 by the French firm SNCAC from Colombes. About 3700 tractors were build. Percheron is French for working horse which is also shown in the company's logo. That should do hopefully
  18. That would be one of the BB series then or mini-Hesston?
  19. Bought a new baler Ziko? What happened to the D1210?
  20. Going Dutch now? Nice models, you did well in last months Agritoy.
  21. He did all the resin casting himself so the builder told me. The chassis is all plastic as well, model doesn't weigh very much at all.
