  1. Sulky X44 Fert. Spreader Are these still available in UK, if so, what price & who Any info much appreciated.
  2. Impressive list there Eurodeere! Would be more than happy with any of them, particularly a nice old N-H S1900 Going back to the Dominators, if they do turn one out, my money would be on an 85, as Claas have a restored one (not sure where it is at the moment, Claas museum or the stuttgart ag museum??), and looking at U-H's SF60, it appears to have been modelled on Claas's own restored Jaguar SF60 (Claas museum/Agritechnica 2005), so although they will have access to plans/blueprints, when it comes to older machines, U-H seem to like a mint/restored example, as in MF 135/Ford 7000 etc.
  3. That Claas Jaguar looks fantastic..... Hopefully now that U-H have moved into the 70's era of claas harvest machines, (and Schuco are bringing out a 1:43 Senator) its only a matter of time before we see a 1:32 Senator or early Dominator, I'm sure they would be big sellers.
  4. Marky, Many thanks for the pics & the info, they look top quality!! thats the type of brochure I was hoping MF had produced for these tractors (in line with the 70,s & 80's type booklets that were available for combines & tractors in the UK). Does justice to a beast of a tractor!! And again, thanks for the time & effort of posting these pics. Regards, JEP.
  5. Was there ever a quality MF 2775/2805 tractor brochure produced?, probably sounds a silly question, but what I mean is, did MF produce a A4 booklet type colour brochure for these models, (as they did for some of the UK 70's/80's tractors & combines) or is it a simple 1 page type spec sheet?? any info, much appreciated (and even better....any for sale?? )
  6. Take my hat of to you (even though I dont wear one...), combine restoration is a major job, think it is wonderful that these older machines our still going strong, and as I said (I think?) earlier in this thread, the older Dominators & Senators etc have so much more character than the likes of the Lexions(undoubtably impressive they are, but all clean lines and modern looking!! \). Do you use your 85, has it got a cab?, table width, year etc, questions questions...sorry for being nosey, but just love the older claas combines! _ Please U-H cater for our needs re 70's claas combines, I am sure they would be a hit._
  7. On a recently received Claas Europa, the unloading auger literally hangs down as it is opened out into the unloading position, on closer inspection, there appears to be a fine crack in the plastic eye hole where the small screw goes through (the bit that is effectively holding the auger to the tank) hope that makes sence \. I would send it back, but as it was given to me as a present,(and yes it was new, and un opened ) it is a little difficult I have emailed U-H for a replacement auger (I will even pay!), but I havn't had any reply. Does anyone on FTF have any U-H contacts/or is any one dealing in convos/mods. of this combine yet, who has a spare auger for sale???
  8. Thanks for that Nigel, Very much looking forward to those two (and their varients!)
  9. Hello Nigel, Hope this isnt a stupid question...but when you say "Rest assured ours will be right", do you mean you will be correcting your own 5000 U-H purchase, or are you producing your own 5000? (certainly hope its the latter, as I have over 15 of your models already, and fantastic they are!!)
  10. Toatally agree Anfield Vario, I think the world of farm models has undergone something of a revolution in the last few years, particularly in the 1:32 scale. Its not that long ago that that all we had to look forward to in the main stream offerings would be a handful of new additions from the likes of Britains & Siku etc, and looking back at the quality & detail back then, it was light years away from todays standard (granted, partly due to new & improved techniques etc),but with the advent of the likes of U.H, the bar has been dramatically raised, and credit to Britains & Siku, because they to are now far better models than not so long back. But as farm model enthusiasts, we our the winners, and whats more, there seems to be more and more companies coming into the market, (As you mention, Wiking & Ros etc) with almost precision standard models, at toy prices!!! Apologies for slightly drifting of the topic of new U-H releases....got a bit carried away But the future does look good :)
  11. Hello, Yes thanks for that, I did watch them sometime in the past, good stuff too! From memory, a few clips from the claas archive do appear in the video, such as the matadors on the Dutch polders etc, but there is lots of footage that I haven't seen else where. As I said, think if you like old Claas combines, its an entertaining 45 mins
  12. Not sure if Im posting on the right board, as its a video, but the video is to accompy the book......... \ Anyway, purchased this video from the Claas website before xmas, with postage & euro conversion it worked out at a tad over ?29 in total. It is about 45 mins duration, and the commentary is in German, however I would say about 70-80% is footage, so even if your not fluent in German, it is very watchable. Any one into old company/promo footage is in for a treat, lots of S/F, Super, Matador, Senator, Consul, Dominator clips not to mention later lexion stuff. All in all a good watch if old claas combines are you thing.
  13. Wonder if the 5000 will be produced in 1:32, seems to be a bit of a U-H trend with the oldies, producing 1:16, then 1:32, i.e power major, MF35 etc. actually thinking about it, there the only two I can come up with...... \
  14. Thanks Simon, great pics, keep them coming!!
  15. They can make that after the Senator & early Dominator to complete a nice liitle collection.....
  16. Hi Nigel, Bet that was quite rare in its day, an 11ft Dom, as you say more usual to see 13 or 15 (or even 17 on 100/5's). I cant dispute that todays machines are very impressive, for there size, power & sheer output (i.e lex 600), but for me they dont have the character of the older ranges, only need to look at a late 60's/70's claas product range leaflet, various types, styles & sizes, from small cosmos type machine/medium Consul/medium & large Senators (60/70's & 80 etc) and range topping Doms, with a monster 100 or later 105!!. As I say, although very impressive, for me a lexion is a lexion, from the smallest to the biggest, comes down to standardization across a range and economics I suppose. Give me an 85 & 105 chugging round a field in tandom, rather than a couple of 600's any day
  17. Thats three of us then! few more and we can push for our own FTF scratchbuild!!
  18. Wonder if we will ever see a Senator or early Dominator (80/5 - 100/5) from U-H. I think it would be a natural progression from the Matador. Suppose it largely depends on the success of the aforementioned. Would love to see one of these Claas classics in 1:32nd........ Any one else feel the same way?
  19. Good spot there jakescot! Looking at that pic, it certainly looks 1:32
  20. Thanks for the pics Johan, They look fab!! After seeing the grimme, it will be such a dissapointment if it is 1:16 looking at it in relation to the MF, Im hoping its 1:32, but wouldnt want to stake a lot of money on it, we had one years ago, and compared to todays harvestors they are not what you would call big..... \
  21. Have seen the pics of the grimme, mid topic, but not a two row ransome? probably me being stupid
  22. which digger was that? was it mounted type like the super faun or was it a conventional type trailed harvester? what tractor would be towing your Ransome?
  23. Back to an earlier thread in this topic, any news on the Grimme potatoe harvester? Can picture it now, Ford 7000/7600 on Harvester, ford 5000/6600 on Petit 3-4 tonne trailer, those were the days.......
