    Norev 2012

Also comes back to the question - are the 750 & 770 just decal changes? because if so - they are not accurate - either one is to wide, or one is to narrow - depending what the model has been based on...... \ , (unless Norev has made two castings??) and as previously mentioned, the 40 foot table is only available on the 770TT.
  3. Unfortunately - a 750 badged as a 770 would not be accurate, as they are different machines - the 770 is approx a foot wider, and has a much larger engine, it is possible the model is a 770, badged as a 750, but then the 750 would be inaccurate......
  4. Indeed! 2012, 1213...... Although I cannot find the post, I am sure Andy posted - that although pictures of the resin prototype were in model farmer, they could not be put out (on this forum??) before the 1st of November - as this was Britains official release date for pictures?? I may have got this mixed up, maybe Andy can confirm situation?
  5. Can't remember if I dreamt this..... but did I read somewhere on one of the posts, that official pictures of the q cabbed fords would be released 1st November?
  6. As bluegreen rightly points out - they are two different machines, the 750 being the old 570 i.e - drum/sieves etc virtually a foot narrower - (as per the 5 walker conventional lexions), and the 770 has a big 16 litre V8, as opposed to a 12.5 litre straight 6 engine. Therefore unless Norev has done two castings, (which i would find suprising given the costs, & assuming they do turn out a 770) - one of the models would not be an accurate representation of the real machine......... lots of if's, but's and maybe's......
  7. Little disappointed to see Lexion 750 - was hoping for flagship 770..... \
  8. Yep, Had the same problem with mine last year, - some sort of glue/plastic reaction I think, shame as its a nice model. Did the same as you BC, put the bits away in a box - will tackle it one day.......
  9. Thank you Fordcrazy & Bluegreen for your replies, much appreciated. JEP
  10. Calling all NH experts - is the Britains CR9080 just a re-decal of the CR 980, or is it new casting/moulding etc? Also - is there much external difference in appearance between the real 980/9080?? Regards, JEP
  11. Hi Gordon, Any news on sale items?? Regards, JEP.
  12. Perhaps a stupid question.... but is there a standard UK bay size? I always thought standard bays (i.e in machinery sheds etc) were 15ft x 30ft, so a 6 bay shed would be 90ft wide, by 30 ft deep, (obviously you could build a shed any size you want) but as a general size - am I correct in this thinking, or do bay widths/lengths vary? PS - I want to build a 1:32 shed
  13. Many thanks Joe & Sean, Joe - two really good sites there - will order the hose from PMA, cheers. Sean - is the fine black coated wire available to the general public? thanks again for both responses. Regards, John
  14. Quick couple of questions - what is the best thing to use for drive belts - i.e - the type used to connect drive pulleys on combines etc Also what is best for hydraulic hosing - i.e as used on implements - to connect to the tractor spools? Any info/advise much appreciated.
  15. Nice little compact 90 hp tractor (with a 2 hp boost to max of 92!!) 4 cyl, 4.4 ltr. regards, JEP.
  16. Thanks for the info Jordan, very informative That is some set up - must surely be one of the largest private farming set ups in the country?
  17. Must be some fleet of machinery particularly with that area of potatoes etc - what tractors do they run? (apologies for going of the harvest post)
  18. What acreage are the claas & N-H covering - must be a big set up. cheers.
  19. Just glanced through my copy of August C.T - fantastic looking issue, lots of really interesting articles (two many to mention!) Will keep me occupied for many hours when I get the time to read cover to cover. Well done Rory, keep up the good work.
  20. Indeed it was James, many thanks - will have to have one me thinks! Very nice front mounted brush there Lee. Thanks for the replies.
  21. Earlier this year I remember seeing a very nice 1:32 yard sweeper/brush here on FTF, but I can't remember where..... seem to remember it was front mounted, maybe with a bucket attachment (or did I dream that bit?), & I think it was by one of the specialist model builders/conversionists. Not a great deal to go on I know, but any help/info where I can obtain one would be much appreciated, regards, JEP
  22. Looks good to me!! How many hours has the the old girl clocked up? bit of time in muck & fertilizer judging by the rust Couple of suggestions - maybe a slightly bent exhaust & a couple of missing or broken work lamps?? Very nice job.

  24. Just called round at friends - while there, flicked through his copy of Tractor & Machinery mag - checked out the model pages - brilliant looking 1:24 scale Dominator 85, scratch built. Can't remember the guys name, but i think Andy did the article. Also a smaller picture of a 1:24 County 1454, again looks fantastic. Would be nice to see more pictures/info on these to excellent looking models.
