First time I've ever seen them used around here but then again not many places are suitably accessible; this farmer has many large fields with the wide entrances meeting at a crossroads on a small lane, and he can drive from the farm with the JD telehandler loaded with refills in a couple of minutes, extremely convenient Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He was, no idea what, but I saw the telehandler drive out with two bags so something was in there. The ground looks dry in these pictures, but this is the top of the hill; further down, machines had been getting stuck, some of the ruts in the maize fields are horrendous.
