Scania T Cab

Recommended Posts

At the risk of not upsetting a certain somebody, he thought that I ought to post a picture of this. Not wanting to hi-jack the brilliant conversion that Tris did, but wanting to show my take on it. As some will know it is a rather time consuming conversion (or at least the first one is!). Just waiting/finding the time to make a STGO board for the front and needs alittle touching up. Oh and one of them cheap transits as escort vehicle for good measure.

Look ok I Guess??

Yes there is a post on here comparing them with the Britains Transit and they aren't bad!

I wish that I did have alot of spare time, its taken weeks on and off, as and when I had the time. I must admit the Transit was stripped and painted in a quick turnaround. Took some gears out of the windy box thing while I was on aswell so that it free wheels.

This could turn into a competition with Mark 4055power doing one aswell :D

Your take on it is great, Mark. Really nicely done and hard to tell the two cabs apart. The paintjob, double drive and detailing is great. I still have things to finish on mine even now. Whether I get to it again in the near future or not remains to be seen. Can we have some tractor unit only photos? :)

I don't think that that is very likely, each to their own.

Thanks Tris and 4055power. C'mon, you know you have to get it finished Tris!  What tractor units would you like pictures of??

thats a good looking unit you have there , certainly spent some time on it & it's turned out really well, will look great up against tris' at the next spalding show as for the R day cab , hows about an 8 wheel bulk blower ? considering you've turned out some pretty good tippers it wouldn't take that much more work to re work it .

if you need pics i can get them

Thanks Marcus, as for the R day cab I like the idea and might well get in touch for some pictures. However it will stay as it is for now, until I get time to have a re-chop. Got a few ideas to mulling round for this or I may do another one.

Well some of you more eagle eyed people may have noticed or not (was in the pictures from Startrac), I have added another T cab to my ever growing fleet, but sporting a lower roof. Anyway here we are, first pic 'Up for a photo' and second pic with big brother.
