1/32nd scale grass??

I started growing this out of idle curiousity really, but it seems to work ( so far ),I just scattered, quite thickly,grass seed in the lid of an old Tupperware sandwich box,don't know yet if it'll scale up to diorama size,'cause cutting it might pose a problem,without hand held sheep shears,beard trimmers etc teeth are to close together I think,grass being thicker than whiskers,just tried my moustach trimmer,no good

just use scissors, when you are cutting hold a vacuum above to take al the cuttins away \ might work

Take the cuttings away? This is the start of a complete 1/32 crop of grass! Dog grooming clippers maybe more robust than hair clippers, Joe?

that or tris will pop round one weekend and trim it up with his mower for you :D

does look good i must say, dog trimmers may well be strong enough, if not a set of bonsi tree snips should work,

Just tried to win these on E-bay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=270430315882 but was outbid ,but the guy's got more,I'll try again,with these I can superglue skids on the bottom to adjust the cut,

Why not try an ordinary razor (BIC type)?

Good thinking Sue,but it needs to be a reciprocating blade to catch the blades of grass,a straight blade like a wet shave razor would just slide over and cut nothing,a bit like trying to shave without touching your skin

It's hard to believe that you are actually having a serious conversation about shaving grass ....
