MF 6290

Was thinking of converting a britains 6290 and putting it on a uh chassis,i have seen a few done here using deutz ttv chassis,I was just wondering is there any other one i could use,as the back linkage arms are not compatiable with most implements.

im putting one onto a MF 5480 chaasis at mo. thats whats the customer wanted, dont know how it'l turn out

i hacked the britains 6290 rear hitch of and grafted it to the uh chassis when i did mine, did take some fitting, but worth it as the britains one was prob one of the last good ones they did, holds just about anything weight wise up with no worrys

Sorry for the shameless advertising but when I did mine I put a realistic beacon on.................

I split the chassis on mine cut two small square notches out either side for a siku linkage to be fitted at the right height then reinforced around the diecast lug of the linkage which sits inside chassis with plastruct and glue/araldite.

would say jamies option would be the easiest way round this to be honest, my method does work, but its only arildite glue holding it on, at least his method has a mount into the chassis
