Tellarian
A lot os semi trailers are built of higher tensile steel that allows it to flex and give - an excellent demonstration. A lot of scrap / condemned US kit used to find its way to the Philippines - roadside shanties and sheds as services stations. Over six months once saw a couple of guys 'rebuild' a rusted out Freuhauf trailer. Supported it on pallets, cut it out section by section, (One piece formed channels with hex lightening holes) replaces it with half inch MS. Broke first day.... Excess of material over design and no stress flow.
