unkelfergus
Yes,...who suggested I should try a log grab......... anyone know how to shrink your fingers.. Just having a bit of a break from the buckrakes....,only for a little while Murray.. just a reminder of how small it will hopefully be.. Thats all for now....will post some more on the other topic over the weekend after I have had a bit of airbrush practice,...a new addition to the workshop... Murray
looks well john 8) fine range of buckrakes in the background , is this grab for a jcb loader then yeah? better or worse to do than the buckrake :D am sure you have plenty pics
unkelfergus
Yes,..for JCB Q-fit carriage, dont think it will take as long but its so much smaller. They are only templates cut out for now from 0.4 plastic, the proper ones will be out of 1mm. Got the grab sitting in the workshop just outside.. unkelfergus
A few more photos,...tines all plated.. Time for a splash of paint in the bowels of the forks,..wont be able to once the rams are fixed in there.... A bit of paint round the front while we're at it... Coming along now Tris,.....should be done by the weekend. The only problem with this build is that a lot of the ram and pipework detail will be hidden by the JCB brackets when they go on.
