what is this part and where does it fit on the combine,any body know,or does anybody have detailed pictures of the cr 980,the 2 pictures are front and back,thanks in advance

the top picture does show yellow paint on it so must go on the bodywork somewhere,but im still lost,HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looks the shape of a real tail light. Ill have a look hang on.

Just had a look, and cant really see anything else it could be other than hand rails  \

seems to be the rear taillight. I presume you meant the CR980 and not the CX880

had the model been opened before you did it paul?? wonder if it was a part that snuck in the box  was never fitted??? doesnt look like a handrail and that would stick out, have you looked round the engine bay?? only other place with the black plastic on it otherwise

yeah the model had been opened before a secondhand buy,if you look at the 2 pictures one of them has yellow paint on it ,but im still stuck,looked everywhere

I also thought it might be a rouge part in the box, perhaps its a sprig from a casting of bits, like an Airfix model.

it could well be that,i cant see anything missing,or certainly nothing obvious

I have the model in front of me and there is no such part on it. I also checked some of the other CR and CX combines i have in my collection and those dont have this part either. So marmitemania could be right. a part of the casting that shouldnt have come with the toy.
