BC
Next up is an amazing display of cars from the Moray Motor Museum in Elgin ....I attach the web site link at the end should anyone ever be up in the Morayshire area 1952 Aston Martin DB2 Ex lady racer of the 50's Jean Bloxham 6 cylinders and 3 litres Next a 1951 Jaguar XK 120 Roadster with a 3.8 litre engine and 0-100 in less than 7 seconds. Now that care could give a modern day car a run for its money and its nearly 60 years old... I think I would prefer this to the Porsche G3 any day ;) http://www.moraymotormuseum.org/

BC
Now excluding the cars from the McWhirter's Moray Motor Museum I think I would have chosen this 1987 Sierra RS Cosworth as best in show. Has standard 16v 1993 cc engine producing 204BHP. This one spent most of its life in Aberdeen and has only 70k on the clock. Only 5,542 were built and the new cost in 1986 was less than £ 16k. In comparison I paid £ 8,266 for an 1.8 Cavalier SRi on 01/08/1985 that only had 115BHP ;) The engine room
The Tractor Twitcher
Thanks for posting all those lovely Fords Bill, especially the Escorts they had Dad and I drooling with delight. The Sierra Cosworth also brings back memories of a number of rallying versions I've seen in action over the years too, especially one in the hands of a famous Scot. Have to say though they're all beaten hands down in the looks department by that beautiful DB4.
BC
I thought you and your dad might have liked those Ford's David. Now which famous Scot and the Cosworth were you thinking about there were a few good Scots on the rally circuit including a lady driver ...Louise Aitken Walker http://www.aitken-walkerdriving.co.uk/

I believe he chucked it off the road late in the event whilst Louise finished 2nd in a little Peugeot 205. The event was won by the late Pentti Airikkala in a Mitsubishi Starion.
