wow rory  lovin the 634 restored AND AS IT SHOULD with the origional

cab ,from memory when i was at the spud harvest in the mid 70s they had 1 x 414 cab and 2x 434 with that cab

2 x 614s and 3 x 634s all had black hairy wierd soundproofing  looked

like it was sprayed on in the cab on the inside of the fenders this diddnt make too much difference i dont think

also the 2 634s and 434s had like a yellow sunroof to them

its lovely to see the 634 in that condition  ;)

would love to make one with that cab one day ,maybee a 614 aswell

Dear IH785Lcabman,

Thanks....glad you liked the story. What a great pair of 634 tractors. I just knew when someone showed me a picture of them that we had to do a feature. They are just such a great pair, and, as you rightly say, it's so nice to see one of the original safety cabs, even if it was a bit of a noise box to drive.

Regards

R Day

i wonder how many 634s where sold with this cab compared to those

without the cabcraft cab

thinking about saftycab laws comming in the 70s i recon more with cabs

than without

then think how many have survived to have them cut off and shell fenders put

on instead  :-\ its nice to see them on the tractors they are moregenuine restoration

to me personaly noise box or not

and universall hobbies/RC2 should go and visit this enthusiast to measure both of them up

;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

I am in awe still at the 2 guys with the MF combines  :-*:-* :-*

Have always liked those 400/500 series range although we had a 780 Special here. Would prefer the 6 cylinder 500 series especially the likes of the 515 that used to cut my neighbour's barley  8) 8)
