JEP
Just called round at friends - while there, flicked through his copy of Tractor & Machinery mag - checked out the model pages - brilliant looking 1:24 scale Dominator 85, scratch built. Can't remember the guys name, but i think Andy did the article. Also a smaller picture of a 1:24 County 1454, again looks fantastic. Would be nice to see more pictures/info on these to excellent looking models.
Tractorman810
saw the county, the trailer and a dommy 105 i thought?? but could be wrong, at spalding, and they were great, real works of art
FordTractorCrazy
you are right Sean, near the end the builder came to show them.. They were fantastic models in an unusual scale. Believe he used to make lorry/truck scratchbuilds and that is where the 1:24 scale came from. As there is hardly anything in 1:24, he had to make almost everything himself.. including the tires.. they were absolute masterpieces! Tractorman810
I know andy was taking pics for a good 30 mins for model farmer . I do remember something about the cleats being glued indvidually on the tyres
