Niels Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 It seems that there is either a blue and/or red invasion going around in the literature forum so I decided to join in. Here are some pictures from a couple of nice Ford/Fordson related brochures for you. Some 'blue' bits for collectors with blue blood (Stehos, Fordcrazy, StapelopFordson)! -American Ford tricycle tractors. -American Ford 2000, 4000, 5000 and 6000. -Moffett (Dutch) -Lot newer but interesting. NH series S. (40 series). Only sold in Italy? (more will folow). Quote
stapelopfordson Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Good to see more blue brochures! I like that american 2000 - 6000 brochure, unfortunately not yet in my collection :'( , but what size is it, it doesn't seem to be US letter? I hope that you don't archive your brochures anymore by making punch holes? Quote
stehos Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Hi Niels, thanks for sharing these nice brochures with us . I think the Italian S series is interesting. @Ronald, you are right about the size of the brochure. It is a lot smaller than US letter, actually it is 136x214mm which is half US letter . Print# AD-8689 862150, so from august 1962. Keep them coming, Niels! Quote
Niels Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Ronald: These brochures were already in the folders like that with punchholes sadly . It is a dreadful thing to do! Here are some more: -Ford Commander 6000 in not to good shape but still nice. -One for the Dutch boys. Ford 530 baler with a sticker on the back from dealer Voets. Repainted New Holland? -One of my all time favourites. Ford 642/622 . One is a Claas Dominator, the other (622) probably a Protector or something? -The big 'uns; 8000 and 9000 American brochure. Quote
Niels Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 -Ford 7400 100hp. Build by EVA? Brochure does have a picture of a 4wd model in it as well. -County/Ford/EVA 8100. Lovely model I think. -And the predecessor. Ford 8200. -Ford Blue Power Specials. Anyone knows what this is about? Its some sort of special edition. I thought the T7070 was the first 'Blue Power' but clearly not! Quote
Niels Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Some other Ford related items: -Jewelltrac 103 -County Forward Control -County Eleven Twenty-Four -County High-Drive 762H Quote
Niels Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 -County 1164P -County 1474 with new engine writing -County 1884 Export -Last off the line. The County 40 series That's all for now Will have to do an MF folder now as well to keep the red boys happy Quote
FordTractorCrazy Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Wow.. why stop here.. there are quite a few gems in there. I am not sure if the 530 baler was actually a rebadged model as Ford has been making balers since the 50's and this is one of the last Ford badged one's. The 622 combine i believe is also a dominator with a bit smaller capacity ... First time i come accross a Jewelltrac brochure.. Should have atleast one in the collection..time to search Quote
justy 46 Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 You have some very rare ones there. The Ford 7400.,8100 & 8200 i would love a look at. Quote
rorsday Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Superb brochures, on this occasion I'm relieved to say I have them, apart from the one with the Ford 8000 and 9000 together, which I would like to get my hands on. Thanks for sharing them with us Niels. Regards R Day Quote
Niels Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Wil: I have photographed some more. Will see if I can put some more on here soon. Justin: Your welcome to have a look round here. Just let me know Rory: Thanks. I'll have to try and a find a brochure that you haven't got! If there's any requests from forum members that want to see a particular brochure let me know and I'll see if its in the collection. Quote
rorsday Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Niels, I was wrong, I do not have the New Holland S Series (Series 40 in terracota) brochure. That is a rare one. Regards Rory Quote
Niels Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Am I right saying these were never sold outside Italy? If you can find secondhands its usually in Italy. Here's some more brochures, mainly old and very old stuff: -Very interesting little book about the Fordson tractor. First page reads: Being a few tributes to the strong practical merits of the Fordson Tractor, freely and voluntarily given by those who speak from personal experience, and experience, you know, is the school of wisdom. First Edition, October 1, 1920 -Another old Fordson Model N brochure this time. Folds up like a postcard but is American A4. Pencil scribbling on it but does give some nice calculation about costs! -Same brochure but then folded out. -American Ford tractors again. Quote
Niels Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 -Ford Powermaster tractors. -Ford goes BIG. Whopping 60hp figures! -Ford reciprocating fingerbar mower Model 550 shown on a Pre-Force 3000. -Another old Fordson tractor brochure on the Model F I believe. Quote
Niels Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 -French Fordson booklet. Ploughs 1 hectare in four hours and cuts 8 ha of corn in a day! -Dutch Fordson E27N Major nicknamed 'Blue Heron' in Dutch for being such a high tractor compared to others. -Fordson Power Major booklet and a Dutch leaflet about the Ford Red Tiger, Fordson Major en County crawler. -Bit newer, Ford 5000 6X. Quote
FordTractorCrazy Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 one after the other are quite remarkable rare brochures it seems. Have most of them, but definately not all of them. The Dutch E27N, blue heron brochure is probably the most rare one of this lot.. very nice! Quote
Niels Posted July 22, 2011 Author Posted July 22, 2011 Shame it's not in the best shape. Have you ever seen those Fordson books for sale? What do you think they are worth? Quote
katana Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 hello, Ref: requests for specific brochures: do you have any brochures on the ford 7000 please Quote
Niels Posted July 23, 2011 Author Posted July 23, 2011 Here's one I have on the Ford 7000, in Dutch. No doubt there's more. Quote
stapelopfordson Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Shame it's not in the best shape. Have you ever seen those Fordson books for sale? What do you think they are worth? It is indeed a rare brochure, which doesn't come often for sale. What it's worth, what does a collector want to pay..... Here's one I have on the Ford 7000, in Dutch. No doubt there's more. There are more, the brochure of Niels below is the most common one with different titles on the front page. In the attachments some more 7000 brochures from Europe, USA and Australia / New Zealand. Are there any more? please let us know! Quote
FordTractorCrazy Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Shame it's not in the best shape. Have you ever seen those Fordson books for sale? What do you think they are worth? If you mean the 76 page fordson at work booklet, it comes for sale now and then and sells most of the time for around 20-25 dollars on us ebay. The Dutch E27N brochure is like finding a needle in a haystack and is like Ronald says, just what the collector is willing to pay for it.. Quote
RichardJW1 Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 can we see the insides of them 7000 leaflets, pleasE? Quote

Didn't knew the E27N was so rare. Thanks Will ring the insurance now Quote
katana Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 the reason i requested the 7000 brochure images is that i have seen the following variation which i had not come across before Quote
