Paul Palmer
are the rear wheel weights moulded on or can you remove them? cheers
justy 46
They could be removed on the older 7000 & 7600 de-lux cab models, so I reccon the newer 76 sould be the same. Ive seen them removed by Blue man (John) for a Fritz cabbed 6600 convo he was doing last year. There is pics on the tractor convo section on page 8. Only thing is your left with 2 little holes in the hubs.

Paul Palmer
and how about this ford experts, what are the 2 indentations in the cab roof, ive marked the one you can see,the britains model has them as well, are they cab mounting points,or for a radio aerial? i know the pictures are of 6600's but they are the same on the 7600 Edited September 15, 2012 by paulali
fendt-the deere killer
the indentations you see are for bolting a frame into to lift off the cab as a whole unit,

SMurF
The cab roof is bolted down there as well. 2 bolts with nuts and caps protrude up through the roof where the indents are. Same on all Q cabs. But I may be wrong

MDFord
Yes it does Paul, remove the wheels then remove a couple of small screws and the cab comes off.

MDFord
Thanks Paul, the wheels only came off after a bit of heating with a hairdrier, ask the Mrs nicely if you can borrow it though

justy 46
The wheels are tough to get off. Done a 4600 convo using a 6600 not so long ago. So I basicly took the 6600 down to bits & pieces.
