I can see alot of Plant men liking these too Joe, after a bit of studying those rams wouldn't be far off fitting an Andy Sewell JCB ::) , although i wonder if they do mini anti-spill couplings........ it be a shame to have a tractor with hydraulics on and not be able to plug in a tipping pipe for the trailer

Actually Paul there is a Japanese company out there called YCC Models who make lovely brass rams, with wee grub screws in them so you can pose your model with the jib held up useing the grub screw,a lot of the 1/50th scale guys use them on their BIG cranes, like some of these http://forums.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=123954 you don't want something that size (and price)

toppling over because the little plastic ram given way, YCC's web site, http://www.yccmodels.com/

Regards

Joe.

Cheers Joe, i'll have a browse at that one, Thats the one thing that i can fault on Andy's JCB 3D II that my mum has in her collection, the rams glide in and out prefectly but there's no resistance to be able to pose the backactor or loader unless the bucket is on the floor. one little lock screw is all it would take. Maybe a future modification that Andy could offer as an option to his standard builds ::).
