Philsterrainstudio
Hello folks Been away for awhile. This is waht I've been working on.This figure is the same as the one in my profile picture Mr P Garner the Farm manager. So what changes have I made, removed the flatcap and gave him a new hair style turn his jacket into a waistcoat and adjusted the sleeves to look more as if he was wearing a fleece and adjusted thr trouser by taking off the pocket and adjusted the footwear to look more like Hunter wellies Please not the Hunter Tags near the top of the wellies. Undercoated him in black and bobs your uncle fully painted. say hello to "Frank the FarmHand".
Deere-est
I think your detailing - in all aspects - is absolutely superb. This chap looks quite the country pursuits chap now

Lady Ferguson
Gorgeous, Phil. Do you still want pheasants by the way?

Leakeyvale
I was thinking "pheasants" too although it is bad sport to shoot them on the ground (and dangerous). Gamekeeper after vermin so perhaps you could do with a fox or two as well, Phil.
david_scrivener
He looks like an upper class huntin' shootin' 'n' fishin' sort of chap. Perhaps he'd prefer some 'peasants' (or hunt saboteurs?) to shoot at? Edited November 28, 2012 by david_scrivener

Philsterrainstudio
Oh forgot to add; Mandy I altered three of the pheasants one with extra feathers on the wings as if its been flushed out from the hedge, i cut the wings off and resculpt them to show more feathers then turned the head to one side and the other one to show it's gone to ground, this one took a lot of bending to get it low to the ground. The third one shows the bird in a dart formation with the head parallel with the ground and the body tilted to one side. Having spent many shooting seasons as a beater and an under-butler watching the birds been shot you get to learn their pattern of flight, especially partridge "pop ups" I call them Pop up and get carried off with the wind. Philsterrainstudio
This is the same farmer figure "farm hand", had to hack to pieces and shorten him, change the head over, repositioned his gun I didn't have time to put the shot gun butt under his arm, cut the left arm off removed the hand and repositioned as if his hand was in his pocket. All the above was what was in the photo I was sent
