Not sure where to start here, but it's been a busy day. Started by fitting new Cool White fluorescent lighting above the two displays. Really happy with the difference it has made.

Below is a before (top) and after (bottom) showing the difference the new light has made.

One thing I had been meaning to do was make the floor and walls of the slatted house a little more realistic, being spotlessly clean just wasn't right now the cattle have been in over the winter. :)

Layouts look the part, and new lighting has made a difference. Hope washer man doesn't fire straight in tanker spout or he may need a clean himself  ;D

Thanks.

Ha ha yes he won't do it a second time, if he does!

Your layout's really taking shape. The wash bay looks great with those concrete slabs.

Thanks Davy, yeah I'm happy with how it came together.

Some new machinery we had ordered arrived into the yard today.

First up we used the T7.210 to unload the Redrock push off buckrake.

Next up was our replacement Claas front and rear mowers, we had our last set for 6 seasons and they served us well.

The T7.315 was taken out to try them on for size!

We are in talks with our local dealer about leasing a Claas 455 Uniwrap Rolant baler for trial this season.

nice new kit Wayne,i see the mowers hitch nicely to the T7.315

Thanks Paul, yes they hook up nicely, but unfortunately the arms aren't strong enough to hold them up both front or rear.

I cheated a little with the rear, it was being held up with some spare tyres hid behind the rear wheel in the photo. :)

I glued mine in the raised position.

That's a good idea, I'll see if it's going to sit in the field working or if it will be parked in the yard during the summer months.

shame Wayne, for an expensive model not to hold the mowers up,but from your photos you wouldnt know anyway

Yeah I thought it would have been strong enough to support them, but to be fair the rear mowers are heavy. So I'll try and work around it any time I'm taking photos.

If your very careful, you can "paint" on nail varnish to the rams in thin layers to make them tighter, just make sure everything is completely dry, before raising / lowering or you'll gum everything up,

Regards

Joe.

That's a great idea, I might give that a go this weekend. Thanks
