THEBRITFARMER
Looks good Mark, modelling tip for you (although you may know already) before you fill the pond with "water" I would paint the wood first dark in the middle then lighter as you go out towards the banks, will give the illusion of depth. Deere-est
Oh hell Mark!!! Old Ford Farm takes another leap in the development stage. . . I can see this turning into a hell of a set up mate, all that space and stuff. Glad the recent Hitachi is earning it's keep aswell
Old Ford
work in progress made some hedges, in two minds about them \ got some compost and had four attempts at E Z water. not over happy with. you have to heat up and melt the beads, run through the house with very hot plastic resin. then up the loft ladder and pour all in around two mins, before it goes hard. THEBRITFARMER
Looks good Mark, what did you use for the hedges The bit at the front on the bend looks great whatever you did to that bit do to the others and you'll be in Never tried the E-Z water but have heard mixed results, heard that it "pulls away" from the edges as it hardens. Old Ford
thanks Scott, the EZ water was not fun to use goes hard far to quick. not going to use it again. the hedge i use blue foam cut it in to strips ,then ripped bit out of it them sprayed green. Mow there's a pun if ever I heard one!!! Hedges are great Mark, maybe add some brown shades to the bottom's for the stems, juts breaks the colour a little but don't go over board. I know nothing about that EZ stuff your using but like someone else said, EMA do it in sheets, maybe stick it over the top as a last resort if you don't get it how you want. If it's not too late - water!!!! With a bit of food colouring?? I know it will evaporate though.
Tractorman810
looking good mate, the hedges dont look to bad either, if you add a few bits of the moss stlye to it to, arround the base/edges it should take the straghtness of them i would think, make them look a bit more natural
Old Ford
thanks guys for all the handy tips, very grateful :) have roughed up the hedges a bit , will also add some brown paint at the bottums soon. have gone and got the new tractor dirty putting the new fence in ;D some bad news, that EZ water has cracked in three places. > >
