PDC
I was asked to move this Williebald compost shredder this week but due to its 4m overall height I decided to tow it rather than put it on a lowloader. I fitted our old Volvo FM with the ballast box and towed it the 40 odd miles between sites 😊

PDC
Hi Paul Thanks for moving the harvester it looks good on your trailer plus the photo's are superb cheers Goody. As you can see I didn't take the big lowloader, I put it on my Nooteboom Step frame which is 800mm high so with the harvester being 4 metres high I was pretty close to the legal limit

smithy
Paul you asked about the weight in the tanks I used to pull about for Hitchcock Farms, the chassis is a lorry cut down and drawbar put which weigh 6.5 ton which is heavy compared to the new agri-spec machines ,the stainless steel tanks and metal skids weigh 2 ton and hold 10 tonnes of liquid so that puts the full tanks at 12 ton so that now puts the weight up to 18.5 ton plus the tractor which would properly be about 7 or 8 ton so total would be about 26.5 ton. When I used it he had a Fastrac to pull it ,he is now all J/D
