nashmach
price were getting for milk at the moment 20 cent a litre last time we got that was in 83 when cost were around the 12p mark looks like no new digger weve even had to sell some cattle its just not on how glanbia are treating us and then they go spend 90 million in new mexico to start dairy farms when we go bankrupt back here and the government not paying grants either What about the beef men who are getting stung 3 years out of every 4 and the major losses from grain last year - welcome to the real world. nashmach
Sorry if I was a bit cynical there Denis but that is the talk that I have to put up with from others - sometimes dairy farmers don't know how lucky they were /are?
denis086
it might not have been so far up the creek if the government had paid the grants were up the creek with out a boat at this stage my fathers cousin was talking to us on saturday and they bought land and everything and we was actually upset about it all

Murray, raging about it but cannot do anything as I am at work my dad is phoning on my behalf tomorrow to find out where he came up with this price.
