Tractordave
Shackleton made the 1/16th scale David Brown Trackmaster 30 in 1952. One hundred were made for the David brown Company as promotional models and a further 50 were made for general sale. When the Shackleton company stopped trading some of the remaining stock may have found it's way to Chad Valley who bought up some stock and the tooling. The box for the one has a small Chad Valley sticker on it, similar to the tractors they produced, so this may have been sold by the Chad Valley company sometime after 1952. Thanks Tractor Twitcher - the tractor was missing a drive gear when I got it. Previous owner must have taken it off the clockwork drive for some reason. I bought a meccano sprocket and got it to work again. Here's a picture of the insides and an arrow pointing to the replacement sprocket

Francesco Fornelli
This is my Schackelton David Brown model with original key; I bought it in February 2019 togheter a big collection of about 700 model tractors from 1955 to 1998. It was the collection of Ing. Dubini (Trieste Italy) one of the most great collectors od obsolete tractors in the world.
