I havent made a how too guide on the forum for over 10 years, which was to make a silo. (the unpainted silos in the picture below were the silo builds from 10 years ago)
I got asked a few questions on making the silo bucket elevator I recently posted on the forum, so I thought I would share a more detailed method.
In reality it is very simply made from 8mm Plasticard box section, 0.25mm plastic sheet and 3mm square plastic rod.
Step 1: Cut half circle sections that finish at three 8mm wide points.
Step 2: Glue two 8mm box section pieces to one of the half circles at the middle and left point.
Step 3: With 8mm box section offcuts glue to create a 3d shape for the half circle.
Step 4: Glue 2nd half circle on the top
Step 5: Cut 8mm strip of plastic and glue to half circle to complete the shape.

Step 6: Add 3mm box section as braces
Step 7: Attach to silo frame and add outlet pipes
I hope this is useful.
