Liam7810
Hi all , been awhile since did a bit of building, I set out to make a pair of these harvesters during this covid crisis , used Britain’s John Deere trailer harvester as a basis , it required a nice bit of cutting to get engine to sit right as I had no measurements on this build , only had pictures of one I see in action at a vintage demonstration day , scratch built cover over engine and diesel tank , got rid of old John Deere shout as it was too small and put 2 new longer ones on I found in a scrap box , re jigged the header to make it look a bit more relastic, bit of time in this to get it shaped and look good ,just to prep for paint and order decals with things get back to normal , thanks for looking ! L33 DA17ON
Nice work. Where Gardiner a good engine? Is that the same as what was fitted to erf lorry and buses? Or am I way off line?

Gardiner conversions used Deutz and Perkins engines from what I’ve read
Stabliofarmer
These look like hefty bits of kit, a great and interesting build, what have you used for the engines?
