AK Weathering

I saw this on Facebook today from a page called AK Weathering - Taiwan and I was really impressed. Quite often weathered models are just a bit of brown paint splashed over them but this one actually looks as if you could touch the rust and it really has been in a field for over 40 years

AK weathering materials are very popular with military models.

As a plastic kit modeller too, last month I bought the second volume of Jan Rosevky’s Truck Modelling book. Volume two focuses more on techniques and is in an easy step by step format.

Theres a section on weathering, using the Heller TE20 as a base.
